Priya and Ravi are so glamorous together. Make a nice couple ( when he isn’t bearing people up and giving them drugs)

Has Cindy and Tanya ever been in EE at the same time?
I’d love to see them have a set-to!

I think Cindy was 'dead' when Tanya was around. Agree it would be great to see them clash. I loved Tanya. One of my favourite episodes was when she buried Max in the forest.

Kathy drunk talking about running the pub was funny ! I feel I may have had conversations like that historically.. lol ( never run any kind of business !)

I love Tanya too, she’s currently in the square when I watch Classic EE, am waaay behind again. Max is slavering over his son’s teenage girlfriend, Stacey.

I did wonder why Ravi and Harry were so matey but Ravi has turned on a sixpence .

Pe-ta whittering on to Louis about his Great Gran Lou Beale ......Louis would've got a right old telling off and a smack if he took his brother when she was around .

PeTah would have got a right telling off from Lou too, for being such a wet lettuce (with no acting skills!)

Ravi did throw a curve ball there didn’t he! I am naturally suspicious, but I didn’t see that senorio at all.
Harry isn’t as street wise as him I guess.

Harry reminds me of the singer from Walk the Moon (Shut Up And Dance )

And all I can say is, give me strength. Where does Ian have this kind of money? And £100k for a pub in London? It would be worth well over a million! And Kat and Stacey's reason for bidding is so Jean doesn't lose her cleaning job??

Don't let reality get in the way there Shelling we all know that these magical tardis elastic walled houses in E20 cost know more than a shed in the wilderness .

Kojo unqualified , working in a garage that has 2 cars a week to service using only a spanner and a pen-torch . He can afford a snazzy flat .

Gray who never did a stitch of work and Chantelle who occasionally put in a shift at the hair dressers bought and redecorated a massive house

And the Slaters manage to run a huge house on three wages (Jean, Stacey, Harvey) but are rarely seen at work .

So £100k for a Pub is well within the realms of EE possibility .

It just so happens that Stacey wins £100k on the lottery so this is a very convenient way for Kat to be the new landlady of the Vic.

You’d invest the scratch card winnings and help Jean get another job , must be plenty of cleaning jobs around. Buying a pub is just bonkers , but Kat has helped Alfie run it before I think , so maybe they just like having a business to run?
That pub would have been flats long ago in real life.
Janine nearly sold it once for that very purpose! It was saved.

To be fair, when Gray showed up he was already a london lawyer and had money to buy Kim’s old place.
One of those rare characters who had an actual profession and worked away from the square ( until he stated working from home)

70s yes, and then there was Stacey paying rent on a flat in London at the drop of a hat ‘for Zoe’ despite not actually working!

Fair enough if the new producer wants Kat as the new landlady but this is the realms of fairy tales. I'm not even convinced Ian would want to buy the Vic (or have any money to do so) never mind the rest of it!

It would just make sense for Sharon to buy it again and have Alfie and kat run it

Zero sense for the slaters to ever be able to afford the pub - i dont even know how Alfie has managed to book last minute flights to australia 🙄

I know that soaps are fictional but a bit more realism would make it better imo 😄

Alfie didn’t go to Australia, but he told Kat that he did!
She now knows his in Spain , but once Stacey told her this ( and more lies as to why he is there ) it has all gone quiet. However , they all whizz off to exotic places without many mentioning the cost of the air fare. Which are not cheap these days ( when previously they hasn’t much money ) similar with Stacey renting the flat and leaving the children with Lynne. All money unaccounted for. 100,000 is only a small amount towards the pub.
Where will Linda and her family live ?

I do wonder where they are all going to be shuffled around to. The only job Linda has ever had is running a pub.

Elaine too, although Elaine is now retirement age.

No doubt a magic wand will be waved to sort it all out.🙄

Linda didn’t even seem too worried about where she might live with the children. Olly is autistic , both are school age and she probably wouldn’t want to live away from the square. Her mum needs a bit of care too and needs to stop paying out for cruises for people who didn’t even bother going on it.
Rent/ buying is a fortune and nobody has space unless she lives with Sharon ( who has totally disappeared)
Albie will come back with an Aussie accent ..
Julie is back next week , maybe she’ll take Nigel back to Scotland and Linda etc could move in with him?
George is with Kojo and isn’t working either , but they can afford that place!

You are right, there are a lot of characters currently without a job, or with such a low paid job they should not be able to afford to live!

Linda and the kids living with Phil would work well.

Nigel is inevitably going to go back with Julie.

Who does Sharon live with (when she's here)? Zack?

Love it how they flit about different houses moving in with people .
Though as it is Eastenders , apart from being neighbours they're all strangely inter twined through marriage or relationships .....

Ohh 😄 I missed that and thought zoe had gone to Australia - makes sense now, but still, yes, super unaffordable to get last minute flights - and Stacey's flat

Do Patrick and Yolande used tto run a B&B but it's full now with Kim/Howie/Mica/Pearl , Denzil and Dee when she leaves Jack and moves into Patricks house with Raymond
It was two houses knocked into one (need to go and look at the E20 map )

Sharon has her own place. Not sure if Zack lives there or not now , but he might do , he was in a house I think when Lauren came over to stay one night a few weeks ago.
(Agree that many are related or ex’s so they can always find somewhere to go ! Lol)
