OMG, I did go to Uni with Mo!!! He's not changed at all!

They just put his cv on screen - I could see the year he graduated was the same as mine, and my uni. They also did NOT blur out his address and personal phone numbers - not good! Anyone with a pause button has all his personal details.

Alambil · 22/05/2008 21:28

I was thinking that FAQ!

cali · 22/05/2008 21:29

there was a family in edinburgh a few years back who were featured in the evening news complaining that £42000 in benefits and 2 houses weren't enough for them to bring up their 11 children!

MsHighwater · 22/05/2008 21:29

All credit to the unemployed lecturer for not being an absent father. None for being a sensitive husband.

Indith · 22/05/2008 21:29

Oooops

I like the trying for number 14 family, they seem lovely.

expatinscotland · 22/05/2008 21:31

how are the other two families affording these broods?

in know my grandfather grew up in such abject poverty he wanted no children and my gran, an old child whose parents died young and who was brought up in an orphanage, had to pester him for the two they had.

my other grandfather's family were very rich and they were farmed out to wet nurses, nannies and boarding schools, but i think that's the exception rather than the rule.

HereComeTheGirls · 22/05/2008 21:31

I think she seems really sad, like she can't just be happy with what she has..and will be devastated when she can't have any more kids...

HereComeTheGirls · 22/05/2008 21:31

sad as in, I feel sorry for her!

katz · 22/05/2008 21:32

LOL @ getting the kids to check!

bramblebooks · 22/05/2008 21:33

I know jules, bless!

Katz, that bothers me as they're sensitive personal details. Mind you, looks like mo can deal with anyone who starts!!

expatinscotland · 22/05/2008 21:34

i'm desperate to find out how these folks are making a living to go out and buy all these tests.

geordieminx · 22/05/2008 21:34

The guy from the scottish famil works in local government. They seem like a nice couple - the house is immaculate.

I like Deborah's family - they seem nice

expatinscotland · 22/05/2008 21:35

she may mean that, too, about not wanting a lot. the daughter, that is.

it affects the elder ones the most.

cali · 22/05/2008 21:35

expat, maybe because we are paying for them?

LyraSilvertongue · 22/05/2008 21:36

How did she get a pos then a neg?

expatinscotland · 22/05/2008 21:36

no, cali, because i'm honestly curious how people afford it.

chenin · 22/05/2008 21:37

Why can't these mums and dads concentrate on the children they have got? What matters is giving children your time and that's something they can't give to each individual child...

thewiltedrose · 22/05/2008 21:37

Tax credits expat, you get tax credits weter u work or not and it goes to say that u spend less and less on each child with clothes and equipment whereas they still give you the same tax credits. Leaves money to spare Imo
