Poor Craig met his maker after Mick hurt him bad
He was a bit boring, but I can't help but feel sad
Mick's wife Lou left him, can't blame her quite frankly
He's abusive and repugnant inside and out, and quite manky

Mick wants to see Kit as he knows he slept with Lou
He's got Bernie now, but what is he going to to do?
Mick's nasty little son is out of the STC
Will he be as bad as Mick, I guess we'll have to wait and see

Debbie's quite ill, she's dumped Ronnie and he's very sad
Kevin's still battling cancer, and he's getting quite bad
Glenda's the new landady of the pub now, and Jenny and Daisy are gone
And Julie has died very suddenly, I hoped she'd go on and on.

(I'm sure there's some more things going on right now, but I've only just woken up after a rough night's sleep.) 😆

She is basically a 21st Century version of Margot from The Good Life

Love Margot!!

zanahoria · 01/06/2025 17:34

Perhaps Sarah asks Todd to keep an eye on Harry while he is using the flat as a shag pad?

Lorrymum · 01/06/2025 14:43

Love Margot!!

Definitely more classy than Sarah

zanahoria · 01/06/2025 20:05

Margot was more classy than the Queen

TellingBone · 01/06/2025 20:24

Sally's more of a Margot

ajandjjmum · 02/06/2025 10:05

No - Sally is more of a Hyacinth Bucket!

zanahoria · 02/06/2025 12:35

Sally dreams of being Margot

stampin · 02/06/2025 14:17

If Sally dreams of being Margot she's probably picked the wrong husband.

ajandjjmum · 02/06/2025 18:41

I thought at the beginning that Sally and Tim were so ill matched, and yet somehow it works. Bit like real life I suppose!

TheodoraCrumpet · 02/06/2025 21:01

That life insurance policy of Julie's paid out pretty sharpish, didn't it, especially considering the suspicion over Eileen's role. Is that usual or just Corrie pace?

zanahoria · 02/06/2025 21:03

Danielle is a quick mover

Although I guess she has not had sex with a straight man for a very long time

suburburban · 02/06/2025 21:41

It’s really tacky and disrespectful the way Eisleen’s sons misuse her home for their liaisons

Deadringer · 02/06/2025 22:11

They christened Mary's bed. 🤮

zanahoria · 02/06/2025 22:25

I loved the wedding ring down the drain scene

Can we keep Danielle and get rid of boring Theo?

zanahoria · 02/06/2025 22:31

Every episode Abi looks more glam and Poor Kev looks sicker

Empress13 · 02/06/2025 23:29

Where is Abi’s son (anyone remember his name?) when she just decides at a moment’s notice to go to pub with Kevin who looks like he’d third on the list for funeral ! Gotta be a man writing these episodes a woman would know childcare is a thing !

Will eyelash be off to Thailand then? Another ridiculous storyline jeez

Sarah is in no way Margot! Margot was fabulous, Sarah is anything but.

I’m at the point with Corrie where I’m now thinking of binning it off, the only thing that keeps me watching is loyalty as I have watched it since being a child and I’m in my fifties now so even though it sounds ridiculous it makes me quite sad the thought of Corrie not being part of my life, I always watched it with my late mum so it’s always had a strong pull but I’m struggling with it’s rapid demise, particularly as I watch Classic and the difference in quality is startling, the show is now a hybrid of The Bill and Home and Away, it’s just crime, blackmail, and teenage tear aways, my loyalty and affection for the show is slipping away, I’m off on holiday soon so maybe that will be a good time to kick it to the kerb. Sad times 😔.

HurdyGurdy19 · 03/06/2025 06:52

I said to my friend during Friday's episode that Eileen would buy a bar in Thailand with her inheritance, and go and run it with Jason. Or a tuk-tuk company and she'll be on the switch, taking bookings 😂

No doubt everything will get all neatly tied up, with flights booked, (do you need visas/vaccinations for Thailand) bar purchased, and she'll be off in a taxi with a cabin bag by Friday, after a swiftly put-together farewell party, complete with a personalised "goodbye Eileen" banner, in the Rovers.

They christened Mary's bed. 🤮

That is unbelievable. To invade Mary's personal space like that and for that reason 😵

And to not even strip the bed until Eileen ordered them to. Gross.

I could have written this. I feel exactly the same about Corrie.
So very sad to watch its decline. Even the TV announcer sounds jaded about having to introduce each episode with a trigger warning.

Yes - not even staying for Craig’s funeral.

Im giggling at the thought of Eileen on the radio for a tuktuk firm!🤣
