Poor Craig met his maker after Mick hurt him bad
He was a bit boring, but I can't help but feel sad
Mick's wife Lou left him, can't blame her quite frankly
He's abusive and repugnant inside and out, and quite manky

Mick wants to see Kit as he knows he slept with Lou
He's got Bernie now, but what is he going to to do?
Mick's nasty little son is out of the STC
Will he be as bad as Mick, I guess we'll have to wait and see

Debbie's quite ill, she's dumped Ronnie and he's very sad
Kevin's still battling cancer, and he's getting quite bad
Glenda's the new landady of the pub now, and Jenny and Daisy are gone
And Julie has died very suddenly, I hoped she'd go on and on.

(I'm sure there's some more things going on right now, but I've only just woken up after a rough night's sleep.) 😆

Who DD? lol Where has she disappeared to? And Adam? Haven’t seen him for ages! Where does Harry go when Sarah Loo is shagging Fit Kit ?? Have I missed something in that Lou is all over Mick now after he’d beaten her and she was going to a refuge? The continuity of storylines is rubbish. And …. Last question what exactly is Carl doing with the cars?

I think that Fiona is obtaining or identifying cars that have failed the MOT and buying them cheap. Then Carl is providing a dodgy MOT certificate for it, and they're selling un-roadworthy cars and making a tidy profit.

I think that's why Ronnie wouldn't sell the first car to the dad who wanted it for his daughter. I think Ronnie found his morals, and didn't want the risk of the car going wrong and injuring the girl.

I suppose that this is where the storyline is heading. Either there will be a crash and someone gets hurt/killed, or there will be some kind of incident in the street, and a resident will be the victim.

Todd reminded me of Lord Snooty, showing my age now!

I loved Todd in his funeral garb, putting him to work with George was a brilliant idea. I hope he will be OK in the midst of Eileen being awful .
Which street resident will be killed by a faulty car.

Good questions in there. I have wondered some of this too! People just disappear for WEEKS with (quite oten) no explanation... And yes, the continuity is not good. The storyline with the cars is daft.

I've heard Sarah LOO mention Harry being with Audrey on one occasion. Ive never known anyone have childcare arrangements like Sarah does. I still struggle to go to.the loo without hearing one of my dcs shouting for me. ( and most of my lot are older than Harry)

The writing is unbelievable.

Todd would have made sure to arrive just before the funeral - why bother rocking up afterwards.

And of course Craig would have a proper funeral - is it all because they can't afford to pay Beth to return for a couple of episodes, or shove a new head on her - or even write a clever storyline where her face isn't fully shown? But no, let's just move the funeral to Norfolk where Craig has no connection, and leave it there. I'm quite cross at the lack of respect.

@ajandjjmum Talking of unbelievable writing, I thought it was ridiculous that everyone rounded on Eileen in the Rovers with their suspicions about the bloody insurance money. Firstly, she’d have got the money anyway very soon if Julie had died from the cancer, so why would she risk life in prison to get it just a little earlier? Surely any buffoon can see that?

Secondly, there’s a time and place. You wouldn’t kick off at the closest relative of the deceased at a wake. Even if you had your suspicions you’d save it for another time.

Ridiculous ! Tracy would have been shown the door surely. It wouldn’t have kicked off like that at a wake and bandying the story about the embalming too. The highlight was Theo’s panic attack.

Yeah, in Corrie, most people don't look after their own children much - or appear to be seen with them often! As you said, my kids were like my bloomin' shadows until they were teenagers. Always lurking, following me, calling 'mom mom mom' every few minutes, and wanting something to eat, or for me to play something with them, or do something for them. I didn't mind, honestly! 😬

It’s strange how characters drop in and out. I’d almost forgotten about Adam. Under ordinary circumstances he’d have been shouting Scottish things at Mick in the Rovers when he was being an arse. And DeeDee seems to have disappeared again. I’d have thought she would have been having cold feet about giving her gorgeous baby up by now.

And she never seems to do anything domestic or actually go to work

And only seems to eat out what does Harry eat?

Sarah forgets she has a child at all.I find it difficult to connect her with Bethany now, she has been forgotten about as if she never existed.Poor little Harry does not know who his mother is.I expect Sarah will ignore him until the writers suddenly remember him, get an idea for a storyline about him and will make Sarah mother of the year.I just hope they don't decide to get her pregnant by one of her many lovers, and the baby will be the centre of her life until she forgets about him/her.

I was relieved to see Jason, as he disappeared just before Phelan started killing everyone, and he was never seen again, so I always wondered if he was actually alive.

It was great to see Jason again. But why did they need to have Eileen saying he couldn't make it to the funeral? To obey the soap rule of conjuring up an absent character by mentioning their name? Listen, we don't need gentle reminders of important characters because they've been away for a while. We're not dozy scriptwriters.

Also Lou is supposedly skint yet Brodey is always eating in the cafe

She is most often in her flat in her best togs, full make up and drinking a glass of wine.

Yes she must have a maid locked in a cupboard as she never does any cooking, cleaning or laundry
