Heading into early summer 2025. CORONATION STREET THREAD. **No spoilers please.**

Poor Craig met his maker after Mick hurt him bad
He was a bit boring, but I can't help but feel sad
Mick's wife Lou left him, can't blame her quite frankly
He's abusive and repugnant inside and out, and quite manky

Mick wants to see Kit as he knows he slept with Lou
He's got Bernie now, but what is he going to to do?
Mick's nasty little son is out of the STC
Will he be as bad as Mick, I guess we'll have to wait and see

Debbie's quite ill, she's dumped Ronnie and he's very sad
Kevin's still battling cancer, and he's getting quite bad
Glenda's the new landady of the pub now, and Jenny and Daisy are gone
And Julie has died very suddenly, I hoped she'd go on and on.

(I'm sure there's some more things going on right now, but I've only just woken up after a rough night's sleep.) 😆

Since Mick beat her up, Lou has done nothing to distance herself from him but uses it as as a way of gaining sympathy and favours from other neighbours. She is extremely devious, especially the way she dumps her kids on Tim and Sally. Although I think the actress is portraying it quite well

I wonder if a few weeks ago when Lou couldn't come to the pub as she was having to sort the girls tea , homework and bedtime (Mick said it to Maria) ... that It was because he had some bruises instead ?

It is unusual for parents on Corrie not to be available for trips to the pub, abandoning their small children.
Lou is up to no good.

Lou's storyline is similar to Abi's when she first started - older brother concerned with how younger siblings were being treated by mother. Although Brody doesn't step up like Seb had to.

If Gary and Lou do get together no doubt Maria will find out and Liam will overhear and adopt his anxious hamster face again.

I thought Tim was doing after school care, but extended to overnight after the hospital incident. She phoned Tim.
That was like a full scale Sunday lunch Sally had whipped up...Sophie and Rosie had to eat their beans a lot.
Gary mentioned his mum...he will go to visit her/have an affair with Lou. She is a bad lot. He has forgotten about the child with Phelans daughter.

What a load of tripe - it'd be on Brody's file that he is epileptic and carries medication from his previous arrests and time in the STC.

He was also given the chance to explain what the pills were when booked in and when Swain and Other Copper were outside his cell door, he didn't do so until they'd gone away.

As for Gary... a simple 'Maria, you were right, she's an absolute cow, she's tried to get off with me so she can blackmail me, I was wrong and I am very very sorry'.. would have sorted that.

But no, Wimpy Windass runs off to Mummy.

What on earth does Carla see in miserable Swain the storyline is just ridiculous. All she seems to do is console her like a baby! As for DD for gawds sake it’s getting ridiculous her acting like she can’t even look at that gorgeous baby when it’s obvious she’s gonna eventually want her back. Just how long are they gonna drag it out for! Where does James actually live ? Is he going back to America? Agree about weakling Gary why is he running back to mummy when he could admit everything to Maria
