He was a bit boring, but I can't help but feel sad
Mick's wife Lou left him, can't blame her quite frankly
He's abusive and repugnant inside and out, and quite manky

Mick wants to see Kit as he knows he slept with Lou
He's got Bernie now, but what is he going to to do?
Mick's nasty little son is out of the STC
Will he be as bad as Mick, I guess we'll have to wait and see

Debbie's quite ill, she's dumped Ronnie and he's very sad
Kevin's still battling cancer, and he's getting quite bad
Glenda's the new landady of the pub now, and Jenny and Daisy are gone
And Julie has died very suddenly, I hoped she'd go on and on.

(I'm sure there's some more things going on right now, but I've only just woken up after a rough night's sleep.) 😆

Well I thought there was a bit of a 'lingering look' between Theo and James!

I hope Todd gets dumped, can't stand him.

I often wonder if he wears his hair like he does in real life? slicked down and oily. Yuk

They may as well have put up a a sign saying 'these two are going to be at it soon'

and then we had the introduction of Theo to James that made it look even more obvious

unless it is a red herring

They could just be bringing all the other gay men in the street into Theo's orbit, who out and at ease with themselves, to make him look closeted and insecure

Yeah I don't think Maria has done anything wrong really, and I hate how they're trying to paint her as a nagging bitchy harridan, and Lou as the victim. Lou is a vile enabler who has a nasty little parasite for a son, and a murdering thug for a husband.

Quite how anyone could favour her over Maria just baffles me. Gary needs his head examining. And yes to how annoying his 'white knight' syndrome is. It's horrible being in a relationship with a man who's like this. Always having to be the hero, always trying to help, but only women - and women who are single or in a relationship that's in trouble.

It's sooooo obvious (to me) that Gary and Lou are going to have an affair. So predictable and bloody tedious. 🙄

Nothing can make me like Lou, no matter how they portray her as a victim, and give her a soft, gentle voice now. She's vile, and I really hope her and Mick do one soon and never come back. Her face annoys me - but I can't articulate why LOL! 😆

Lou is meant to be 32 but in RL she's a bit older she looks much older than Kit

Wow @FeatherDawn , is Lou meant to be 32? I'd have clocked her at 38-40. I know a few people in their early 30s and they look a decade younger than her.

Also agree that Lou is going to screw Gary over. Will serve him right.

I have no idea where Shona has gone. Some people just disappear for weeks andn weeks with no explanation!

As annoying as Lou is I still prefer her to Gemma who has been doing the same one dimensional 'comedy' routine for about fifteen years

I can't bear Betsy and her dreadful voice. She doesn't seem to fit as Swain's daughter - she seems to be more working class.

is anyone else confused as to whether Lisa or Becky is Betsy’s bio mum?? Obvs there is going to be some massive storyline when she finds out who her bio dad is …. yawn. Prob Kit as he’s fathered everyone else’s bloody child on the street !

Pretty certain it's been mentioned that Becky was the biological mum. Interesting to see who the father is!

Steve is the obvious favourite but my money is on Mick

She is annoying but I think she is meant to be. I actually quite like the character and it is amusing how mumsy DS Swain is when she is around her and always gets suckered in by Betsy's 'poor me my mum died' routine.

Did Steve and Jason mention Becky?As in Steve's ex wife?
I wish Jason would leave Eileen in Thailand and come back to Corrie.

I agree, Betsy is awful. Dreadful voice, sounds like a lamb when she's 'upset,' and also, like several others on the show, I think she's a poor actor. Corrie has definitely slipped in quality this past few years, and I think it's got much worse since the Bailey family arrived. The scripts - and the quality of acting (from the newer actors) is very mediocre.

New head James is certainly keeping up the tradition of the previous one.
