He was a bit boring, but I can't help but feel sad
Mick's wife Lou left him, can't blame her quite frankly
He's abusive and repugnant inside and out, and quite manky

Mick wants to see Kit as he knows he slept with Lou
He's got Bernie now, but what is he going to to do?
Mick's nasty little son is out of the STC
Will he be as bad as Mick, I guess we'll have to wait and see

Debbie's quite ill, she's dumped Ronnie and he's very sad
Kevin's still battling cancer, and he's getting quite bad
Glenda's the new landady of the pub now, and Jenny and Daisy are gone
And Julie has died very suddenly, I hoped she'd go on and on.

(I'm sure there's some more things going on right now, but I've only just woken up after a rough night's sleep.) 😆

I HATE the Abbie and Carl storyline - for God's sake writers - let her have some stability in her life for once.

I do have a feeling that when the producer says CUT Abbi and Carl just burst out laughing,, as it is so unbelievable between the 2 of them .

I was shocked to read that the actress who plays Abbie is 50 irl! She looks amazing. I just hope she doesn’t start taking the tweakments too far.

I don't have personal experience of chemotherapy but hope that with Kevin's situation the writers are giving as realistic an offering as possible. The actor looks rather frail and unwell but if that's all down to the make up department and the script he's been given etc then he's doing a great job.

TBH, even though I think Sally Carman (Abi) is an attractive woman, she doesn't look much younger than early 40s, so I'm not sure what the point of the fillers is.

Fillers and botox rarely makes someone look younger. Indeed, it makes younger women - under 30 - look older. On Love Island, I see young women of 21 to 25 with fillers, and they look 32-35.

I do love me a Northern accent - (Midlands born and bred here,) and I agree that Frankie's voice is annoying (sometimes.) But I also find Carla's voice very annoying (most of the time!) Shame, because they're both so attractive to look at! 😆 It's not the accent(s,) it's the voice(s.)

Carla's voice has grated on me for years. If the actress's voice is not like that in real life then I can only assume she's trying to sound very "Lancashire" and she's got it so wrong. Yes am referring to her voice and not the accent.

I only caught the final part of the Soap Awards, but was so pleased to see 'Roy' and 'Hayley' back together - what lovely speeches they both made. And the audience seemed genuinely thrilled for David Neilson.

I thought it was telling that there wasn't even a Corrie entry in the final award, but two from another show. Hopefully it will give the writers a boost to get more real! The Corrie haul was abysmal.

I laughed at Jack P Shepherd's response to not winning the funny award. I thought they missed a trick with the clip they showed of him though. The one where he turned tail in the Rovers when he heard Gail mention something to do with sex, IIRC, was a cracker.
