Poor Craig met his maker after Mick hurt him bad
He was a bit boring, but I can't help but feel sad
Mick's wife Lou left him, can't blame her quite frankly
He's abusive and repugnant inside and out, and quite manky

Mick wants to see Kit as he knows he slept with Lou
He's got Bernie now, but what is he going to to do?
Mick's nasty little son is out of the STC
Will he be as bad as Mick, I guess we'll have to wait and see

Debbie's quite ill, she's dumped Ronnie and he's very sad
Kevin's still battling cancer, and he's getting quite bad
Glenda's the new landady of the pub now, and Jenny and Daisy are gone
And Julie has died very suddenly, I hoped she'd go on and on.

(I'm sure there's some more things going on right now, but I've only just woken up after a rough night's sleep.) 😆

@bizzey The theo actor can't act so I don't think he'd have chemistry with anyone! Poor Todd. He worked well with Billy and he had 'mate chemistry' with Paul.

I did love the conversation between Todd and George, when they were in the undertakers .

They work so well together.

I think that was what made it so grating when Todd and Theo were having their scene .

Why doesn’t Dylan have a cockney accent, he lived in London for years before weirdly coming to live with Sean.

Not all of us down there in that London speak Cockney you know !!!

Anyhow he was living South London with his mum ...a long way from the true Cockneys .

But Dylan has a northern accent!

Alright. I’ll change that to “southern” accent to not offend all Londoners.

Well, when someone moves to another town or country quite young, like less than 15/16, they often lose their original accent. But I don't think Dylan had the London accent anyway originally did he? I think the actor who plays him now was in it for a few months around 2012, and then came back in permanently 5 years ago. I think you're right though, he never sounded like he came from That London!

His wife however (Danielle, played by Natalie Anderson...) I love her.

They seem allergic to having anything but northern accents on the show now. In the past they had the Baldwins with proper London accents.

@bizzey it is such a shame for Todd that they stuck him with Theo. I agree Todd is great with George.

Incidentally I'm watching classic, and recently Sean mentioned his one true love was a scaffolder! The writers obviously have a thing about gay scaffolders 😆

Their marriage could not have been up to much. I doubt there was much sex and Theo's conversation is hardly riveting.

I guess as a scaffolder he may have been good at putting up shelves but not sure what other uses he had.

I struggle with Northern accents. Is Theo's Manc? Sounds a bit Yorkshire to me, certainly has that deadpan down to earth sound.

I think the actor (James Cartwright) is from Bolton. Peter Kay is from there though, and he doesn't sound hugely like him. Maybe he spent some time somewhere else (when he was growing up.)

It is fair to comment when it does not suit that character.

If actors are employed full time it seems reasonable to ask them to confoem to the character.

The woman who plays Gemma was fed up with Gemma's hair so got it cut and now wears a wig. I am sure that is great for her but makes the programme look ridiculous.
