Ryan didn’t even consider that Jacqui might go on the date. He’s so naive. A few compliments and he’s back in her web! Fool.

I don't believe any of them were potential matches. They probably phoned a handful of entrants and picked the ones who were up for it. Paul and Ryan's dates were definitely coached to say the right things for the story line.

Paul to waffle on about his beautiful Carina and to make grandiose declarations of undying love. Carina to hold her head high, give him the look of utter distain which he deserves and leave, never giving him another thought (I hope).

Awthina and Adrian both to give long emotional “will they, won’t they” speeches which end up as no from both of them.

Ryan to talk a lot about how difficult Waquie has made his life but that she came through for him in the end and learnt to appreciate him for what he is so he’s going to commit to going forward with her. Waquie to say “I don’t lose people, people lose me” and run off into the sunset waving Rory’s number and a list.

I hope they show Wacqui exchanging numbers at the reunion.

I wish they’d just had two actors pretending to be everyone’s matches.

@TinselAngel please put that forward as a suggestion for next year, that would be absolute quality! Imagine they all think they've met the one and then the actors turn up at the reunion 😂

My WiFi went off at 7.45 last night and has only just come back on, and I had no data...

Managed to watch the episode though and have caught up with all the comments.

This 'new task' is a bit shit, tbh. Some will go on the date (or 'meet'!) to get revenge for past injustices. Others apparently can't contain their 'curiosity '! I suppose it's to add more drama ahead of final vows.

Liked Rory and thought Jacqui restrained her weirder behaviour with him!

I was WRONG! Ryan did not ask for the woman's number, Jacqui asked for the guy's number! I watched it back (sad, aren't I!!). And Jacqui said she would be out of the experiment in two weeks.

Poor old Ryan thinks they have something special.

greengreyblue I don't know if this counts as a spoiler but you can find out who didn't meet Jamie and his reason for not meeting her (Which I think was rather lovely) but yes, handled very badly by the producers!

I think it was OK as part of the experiment but spoke volumes that Rhi and Jeff didn't do it.
