I think Carina probably is a bit of a princess though and they're an odd couple.

There is something about Awhina I don't love. I think has a holier than thou quality.

For instance, it was clear that Carina reacted cattily in private about someone close to home whom her creepy partner had shagged.

Not ideal and Awhina is entitled not to be happy about it in the moment. But it looks like a huge meal will be made of that one comment at the dinner party.

She was also getting stuck in with Lauren but knew when to shut up so Jamie was the only one left making the point.

She's very good at looking sweet and a bit of a victim e.g. when she knows full well there's no future with Adrian and they're both just along for the shagging but gives with the sad eyes when he's being a prick.

Speaking of Adrian, it looked like he was doing well but was downright mean with Jamie telling her Dave would be interested in a better looking woman. That was shitty and unkind also smug as the one thing his marriage has had is sex

Paul is the one that started all this and if someone told me someone said my sister or daughter was essentially of low calibre, simply because she dated, many years ago the man you’ve been fake married to for 6 weeks, I’d saying much worse than what Awhina said, trust me on that.

I don’t particularly like carina, and I do think it was out of order to say that about Cleo but in her defence she wasn’t expecting her twerp husband to go blabbing to Awhina.

I think with Awhina it's the ridiculous turnaround from being done with Adrian to being all over him again within 24 hours. Especially when she was talking about the precious time she was sacrificing with her son. Fair enough - go on a TV show, have some fun. I'm sure he's being well looked after. But don't labour that point then go back to someone who's treated you appallingly.

I think they’re both staying for the exposure. Especially Adrian. He’s all about promoting himself, hence the hissy fit over the promo video. I think that’s why he shit stirred with Jamie and Big Dave, and prob will with Carina and Paul - to derail the stronger couples and come out as the ‘winner’, in terms of staying in a self-promoting couple when they get out.

Agree, my issue with Awhina is that she stayed with Adrian after he’s been so awful to her. She should be more discerning when she has a son and less likely to be there just for the sex.

Carina said something nasty (can’t remember what) about her twin sister. Of course she’s going to be pissed off about that.

Awhina is is of course going to be pissed off at hearing anything against her (TWIN) sister but it's the fact that it was said in confidence and Carina immediately said (to Paul so will presumably to her too) 'i didn't mean/shouldn't have said that, was just insecure ' and it appears that Awhina makes a big fuss at the dinner party tonight 'sje owns her own home etc etc'. It may not play out like that but she seems to make the most of being badly and things being difficult.

I can see Awhina as the type who is always in the local paper a sad face for easily avoided issues with the council.

If I were Awhina, I'd be annoyed at what Carina said but I'd also be wondering why TF Paul told me.

I wonder how Awhina’s son is, surely he’s all the way over in Perth. Is all this (Adrian 🤮) really worth it? I know it’s probably not as long as it seems, but I’d be in bits, pining now.

This series has been an uncomfortable watch at times, with some awful behaviour, but I wish I could have watched something like this in my 20’s. It would have been so helpful, to not waste time on duds.
Listening to Dave b_llshit Jamie when she was just asking for honesty and he’s coming back with words like ‘hurtful’ or saying ‘that’s a terrible thing to say’ when it’s obvious his head has been turned……..we’ve all experienced these blame games in early relationships

Yeah I don’t like Carina so I’m with Awhina on this one. Nothing is said in confidence on this program- it’s on TV. It was a nasty thing to say. If someone criticised my family then yes I’d be pissed off and challenge them if I found out. For sure she will bring it up at the dinner party. It will kick off - just like the producers want..

Paul is also at fault for stirring and writing that letter. Though Carina appears to have let him off…
