Question - who is now the worst: Adrian, Paul or Ryan?

Paul. I think he's properly sinister now.

They all need to get in the bin….but those big outside ones, that have lockable tops to stop wildlife -protect our wildlife!

The people that must enjoy this the most, must be the ex girlfriend’s of these awful men. I’d put it on a big screen and invite my friends round!

WhisperGold · 17/04/2025 10:03

Paul's 3 triangle tattoo looks far right. Especially now he's revealed a bit of his personality.

Question - who is now the worst: Adrian, Paul or Ryan?

A few weeks ago Elliot would have headed up that list!

The only groom who seems decent is Jeff. Please don’t let us down Jeff 🙏

Delatron · 17/04/2025 10:25

Paul is the most sinister and I feel dangerous- especially with someone like Carina. So the worst for me.

Ryan is awful but I can’t see him and Jacqui lasting and she has his number somewhat and stands up to him.

Adrian does offer some good advice to the group. But he’s not been nice to Awhina. She puts up with it though so…

Veggielepsy · 17/04/2025 10:41

Paul for my money. Punched a door through and now trying to equalise with petty stuff and something said in the heat of the moment. Worrying for someone naive and now a bit unpopular in the group like Carina. I hope the girls regroup as they have their work cut out.

Big Dave is drifting away, we can't lose Jeff!

I thought Jaime asked a fair question, not sure why Dave started dancing the dying swan. I can imagine he's lost interest with the drama, and now Adrian has made her feel it's her looks.

Veronica is bonkers and twisty but I think Eliot is getting a shiny edit. I doubt he's a bad guy but I actually think he and Lauren are similar (without her swearing and brittleness) he's visibly difficult company when not at a party, very black and white, transactional thinker.

hoxtonbabe · 17/04/2025 10:44

EdithBond · 17/04/2025 07:44

100%. She shouldn’t have mentioned her son, then stayed to be with someone who treated her so badly.

I think they’re both staying for the exposure. Especially Adrian. He’s all about promoting himself, hence the hissy fit over the promo video. I think that’s why he shit stirred with Jamie and Big Dave, and prob will with Carina and Paul - to derail the stronger couples and come out as the ‘winner’, in terms of staying in a self-promoting couple when they get out.

I have no idea what she sees in him, unless he’s good in the sack.

Ugh.. no matter how good he is, all that incoherent mumbling would irritate the heck out of me and make me find my biggest, torn up bloomers and neck to ankles night dress.. with a hair bonnet to match.

Delatron · 17/04/2025 10:49

I do notice that Eliot is a bit serious. And that day in day out would be tiresome. Has he ever made a joke? Had a laugh? Veronica is nuts but I’ve gone off him a little.

Jeff is my favourite but I don’t find him attractive at all. At least he’s kind and genuine.

CrystalMighty · 17/04/2025 11:04

EdithBond · 17/04/2025 07:33

It’s his constant handsiness find tres off-putting. I’m pretty tactile, but the endless touching seems controlling and possessive.

He wouldn’t leave her alone after the punching incident. And that in itself was possessive anger after she joked about who she’d shagged.

Giving vibes of locking you in the basement and keeping you all for himself to touch 😱

Eugh, I get second hand repugnance just watching the way he paws at her constantly, booping her nose & tickling her under the chin etc 🤢🤮🤢

CrystalMighty · 17/04/2025 11:06

And it's all amplified seeing him do those things straight after bitching about her to Awhina!!!

CrystalMighty · 17/04/2025 11:10

ExtraPaddingForFallingOver · 17/04/2025 09:28

I wonder how Awhina’s son is, surely he’s all the way over in Perth. Is all this (Adrian 🤮) really worth it? I know it’s probably not as long as it seems, but I’d be in bits, pining now.

‘….and the Oscar goes to…..’ bravo Eliot!

This series has been an uncomfortable watch at times, with some awful behaviour, but I wish I could have watched something like this in my 20’s. It would have been so helpful, to not waste time on duds.
Listening to Dave b_llshit Jamie when she was just asking for honesty and he’s coming back with words like ‘hurtful’ or saying ‘that’s a terrible thing to say’ when it’s obvious his head has been turned……..we’ve all experienced these blame games in early relationships

I reckon Awhina's now 100% doing this 'for her son' - thinking of the 💰 she can make after MAFS. Hope it's worth it!!

SinisterBumFacedCat · 17/04/2025 11:14

I think Dave is worried about not looking like a good guy. At the commitment ceremony he was the first one heckling Clint and Lauren when they walked in. Jamie was eye rolling about the argument at the retreat right up until Carina was on the sofa and got sympathy from the ixperts. Jamie is then apologetic to Carina and Dave suddenly goes silent and starts doing his weird finger tapping. He’s realised he’s hitched to someone who might get a bad edit and is inching away.

CrystalMighty · 17/04/2025 11:14

Delatron · 17/04/2025 09:32

Paul is also at fault for stirring and writing that letter. Though Carina appears to have let him off…

Ooh I don't know - Carina's demeanour (😁) seemed to really shift after Paul's letter - something psychotic was definitely brewing beneath the surface there. I was expecting the tears & vulnerability, but I sensed revenge vibes..!!

Delatron · 17/04/2025 11:15

Good point about Adrian shit stirring to take down the most powerful couples….

SinisterBumFacedCat · 17/04/2025 11:18

Adrian and his family treated Awhina’s sister horribly but that’s ok.

JaneJeffer · 17/04/2025 11:38

I burst out laughing when Ryan said he was going to be a trophy husband.

Just caught up on last night:
Veronica is absolutely craaaaaazy!!!! Its like she really to get under his skin. It must be killing her he is remaining calm! Him clapping her Oscar worthy performance, aw I've actually started to like him!

The boys are horrendous! Starting worst - best, I'd rank them:
Paul -there's something really unnerving about him! The punching the wall, throwing his wife under the bus when he had the chance, the crying, the way he hugs and kisses her during a discussion and his apologies.... He's not a good egg.
Ryan - the stay at home dad comments, the telling her not to talk to others, his toxic masculinity!!! He's awful but can't see he does anything wrong.
Adrian - he was tolerable when he was with Jamie, maybe its just that he's a God awful romantic partner

Carina's blank expression when she's listening to someone speak makes me laugh every time. It's a cross between "I haven't got a clue what's going on" and "I need to really concentrate to understand what they are saying" .

That's all my insights for now 😅

Veggielepsy · 17/04/2025 12:01

I think Eliot has a sense of humour but in a dry, caustic 'laughing at' way that isn't particularly good fun day to be around.

JaneJeffer · 17/04/2025 12:11

Paul just gives me Oscar Pistorius vibes. Shudder.

Veronica should be in a throuple with Ryan and Jacqui. Then when Jacqui falls into a coma there’ll be someone to mind their crazy kids.

Joining this thread (hi all! Very much enjoying the Ry Ry commentary)
To agree with this, while Paul is definitely a wrongful, the way she took everything he said and went 'well, HE did/didn't do this' and had a murderous look on her face reminds me of... a spoilt youngest daughter whose never had her behaviour summarised to her so specifically before. She looked annoyed she had been caught out on the things she said (and im wondering if she cant remember what she said on camera or not hence no real denial... or maybe thats just the edit?) rather than hurt he would say them. Or at least that's how it came across to me!

PoppyBaxter · 17/04/2025 13:09

Paul has 'familial annihilation' written all over him.

the restaurant service joke was good I’ll give him that

I would have liked to have seen more of how Eliot and Rhi got on. All seemed very polite and nice but we weren’t shown much. He hasn’t got on well with the two women he has been paired with but it’s hard to tell if it’s down to them being awful women!

It would be very difficult not to get on with Rhi, she seems really lovely.
The other two I wouldn’t want to be in a room with, my hackles would be straight up. Isn’t strange how the nastiest presents itself on both of their faces and any attractiveness diminishes.
