I think Rhi was choosing her words carefully so that she doesn't (tell the truth) say that Eliot may as well give up now because Veronican checked out two weeks ago 😆. Eliot is just a normal bloke. I don't think he actually has any interest in V as who knows who she actually. Just everything she says is fake/scripted it seems.

Jacqui really is absolutely nuts.... properly unhinged. Even the way she looks around the apartment. I feel for Jeff. He is making her what looks like the world blandest meal and she's going insane over it. Ryan...also nuts but in a much more sinister way.

I have not really warmed to Beth but I thought that she handled Ryan's questions brilliantly. I feel sorry for her having to spend 3 days with him.

Re Elliott - I can't remember what he said exactly but he came over as a complete misogynist in the pre-matching interviews with his ridiculous list of criteria. Whilst much more charming now and easy on.the eye I think that he is disingenuous- he is not really interested in pursuing a relationship with Veronica (for which he cannot be blamed) but more worried about how he is perceived and solving a puzzle.

Re Dave and Jamie - if my partner behaved as she had it would really put me off and worry about conflict resolution in our relationship but it doesn’t seem like Dave is being honest with her.

I was thinking the same. I thought he was awful and now I like him. That’s bloody clever editing. I need to see how I was tricked!

I just want to know WHAT book is Elliot reading? The cover of it looked like a Penguin classic. Remember in that interview with John, he'd said he thought he'd get a quiet librarian...? It's all making sense now!

We were dropping C bombs on Elliot in the first few episodes, now I feel sorry for him, he is right about Veronica acting like she hates him, he was really eager to learn from Rhi and he reads books!

I found Elliot's body language in positioning himself as eager student on the floor against Rhi's teacher on the sofa both amusing and slightly endearing.

Yikes - he is like a different person now. I wonder why he’s so tolerant of Veronica? And lets her get away with all the shit she does.

My jaw hit the floor on that one. And on camera saying something about Cleo (the sister) when he meant Awhina ... Absolutely nuts that there's so many previous connections this year. Man, I wish it'd been on camera for that revelation. I'm going to go back to the first dinner party when Paul and Awhina met to check for clues!
