DeeDee has had Joels baby, but doesn't want her
And her brother's stepped up to be her dad
But I think she's wavering and getting a bit attached
If she gives her baby up she may be sad.

DeeDee's about to take action for the poor treatment she had
When she was in labour and about to give birth
I hope she gets justice and gets treated right
And gets compensated for what she is worth

Dorin is back, he's incredibly cute
And I have to say DeeDee's baby is too (edit by request)
I hope they don't turn into little shits
Like the children in Corrie tend to do!

Daisy and Jenny have proper fallen out
Over the pub and money and debts

I think Dom will piss off with the money and leave them all high and dry. Lauren driving the van was so stupid. If she had left Betsy rummaging around in the the van Tracey would have caught her, given her a tongue lashing and that would have been that. But instead she 'helps'her by stealing the van and crashing it! Now it looks like Lauren is going to be blackmailed about it. What a load of shit!

I’m wondering where the character of Lauren will now fit in. Max has gone, so no Platt integration. Her relationship with DeeDee is no more, now that Layla isn’t needed for Frankie. No wendy crozier type support on the street. No other younger characters (apart from Betsy) for her to join in with, or potential boyfriends. Not sure I see a future for her really.

And we'll have all lost interest before the story is even half over.

I've just remembered I've not watched last night's episode. I think I'll delete it off the box as this thread has told me all I need to know.

It must be about six weeks since Carla told Jenny she needed the money 'immediately' or she's going to the police. Yet here we are.

That episode with Lauren's prison visit was a bit odd. The takeaway from it was that whatsisname might not be her Dad as PP have said. Is that a set-up for some random to rock up claiming to be her Dad? No doubt he'll be a wrong 'un.

Sadly I think Corrie are committed to arsey faced Lauren for some reason. I can see her and Frankie going to live with the Platts in their newly renovated house.

Lauren has a cold so can't be with Frankie, she could have helped Roy in the caff now he is her imaginary dad, instead of the weird Betsy thing. Bobby needs to come back and be her friend, Betsy needs to go to bad girl school like Hope.

Why has she got a cold? Must be a reason (or maybe not, the writers will just forget about it).

I think she has had a cold since Wednesday. So she has been in the prison, adopted Roy and crashed a van. Where does Lauren live?

The cold is either an excues for her to be loitering around the cafe rather than with Frankie, or Frankie will get it and be ill yet again.

The stolen van… can’t be bothered. They can’t even afford to film a crash so we just see them staring at the van afterwards. Betsy and Swain need axing.

The Lauren actress is good, and she’s really pretty when she isn’t doing arsey face. It’s a shame she gets such dire material to work with.

I really am not buying Eileens response to George cautioning Brian re Julie - its a sensible sort of thing any slightly sad Eeyore-ish person might do.

Eileen is responding as if George told Brian to lob the entire Julie in the bloody bin!

Betsy and Lauren was ridiculous - surely they just say 'we found it here and had a look inside to see if anyone was in there, hurt, we recognised it as Tracy's van. Which covers their presence and any prints.

You'd think the pair of them with their history of dodgy doings and telling lies would have figured that out!
