This was it with me (in reverse).
I didn't think Lauren was a bully or cow or suchlike as she was saying mean things but I think it was coming from a maladaptive mechanism for managing discomfort (in this instance at the girls' night. Definitely not arguing for a St Lauren).
However, Lauren was forced to defend herself.
For Jaime, I couldn't see any need at all for her to force Lauren to account for herself to her, or even contribute if she didn't want to. It was just pushing her because that was what Jaime wanted, regardless of Lauren's point of view or feelings. Plus it was pretty obvious where she stood.
Then tantrumming at various people and singling them because she had an expectation of a certain response and they out they disagreed, with her was a seriously bad look to me, even if her initial intentions were quite good in the setting. She just isn't the moral arbiter she seemed to think she was, and I think needs to grow into her wisdom.
