I think Dave is OK with all of the Jamie stuff... he was pitching in quite a bit anyway.

I think it's the L word that has really thrown him and made him think about what is happening and how this will work outside. He made a weird comment last night - pretty much the only thing he said - about you can get through the experiment and do everything right and still not fall in love (unless I misheard!) And it's true and it's why MAFS (and life!) has always bothered me....you can be great on paper and you can have experts coaching you about how to make the relationship better...but it can't give you that thing that makes it all fall into place.

Also I think Jamie is great anyway and she is learning loads about her behaviour, good and bad, on here. Her apology to Carina was so genuine last night and I think even she is realising that actually even if she comes out of this without a partner, she's still benefited massively from being on MAFS.

I am so glad Lauren has gone. She seemed to be scarily good at manipulating people into accepting her alternative realities. Evidenced by how she got Clint to agree that they’d both decided they just wanted to be friends when he’d been very clear previously that he hoped to pursue a romantic relationship with her.

Assuming she's not a plant and hasn't been briefed specifically to stir up trouble (which I'm still on the fence about), I couldn't agree more. I guess it would be just about possible to read her abrasiveness as shyness if it wasn't for all the vile insults she's been slinging at the others, but no, on the evidence of how she's been in the show she's just not a nice person, and with no openness to being nicer. I do wonder if Clint still likes her as much after all the poison she's spewed lately.

The editing feels very choppy in places, and it makes me wonder how honest a view we're being given. I noticed when the last night of the retreat was shown in recaps/previews, they moved around Jamie's 'Don't even go there' (or whatever she said) several times so who knows what she actually said it in response to! Agree re how they edited Dave's reactions last night too. Difficult to know how much of what we're seeing is how things actually played out, and it's feeling quite frustrating at times. Just show us things as they really happened instead of trying to amp up the drama all the time!

Can we discuss people who have left the show now? Or is that still a spoiler?

My favourite bit of last night was when Lauren was telling the experts about how she was being 'attacked' and couldn't actually name one thing that could constitute an attack. Even she didn't look convinced 😆

Mine too. I was so glad her (and Corina’s) lies were pulled up. There was no attack or ganging up on her and she was not upset.
