This show has been on for years. I’ve never known a single person to watch it.

I stopped watching when they started the political commentary without putting any other side forward, but the that is what C4 tends to do.

another1bitestheduck · 22/03/2025 20:32

agree with others - used to watch it, coverage of the paralympics was great but I just can't handle the disconnect regarding access to women's sport - presumably they'd be outraged if able bodied people could just decide overnight to identify as being disabled despite not being so, and compete in the Paralympics against double amputees but they don't seem to be able to make the obvious link!

SchrodingersTwat2 · 22/03/2025 22:57

Didn't you get bored, asking everyone you know?

I usually watch it.

Whateverfloatsyourgoat · 22/03/2025 23:11

It’s just three misogynistic men being extremely pleased with themselves.

Whateverfloatsyourgoat · 22/03/2025 23:11

And I bet there will be some derogatory ‘joke’ next week about middle class mum’s forums after they see this too.

powershowerforanhour · 22/03/2025 23:30

"I watched it a few years ago before I realised Adam Hills was a massive insufferable prick."

Same. I used to like it and thought it was funny but the more I saw the more I noticed the nasty contemptuous tone towards women disguised as banter. I can't think of specific examples but I remember thinking to begin with that I'd got the wrong end of the stick or that it was a one off, as I liked them and was very inclined to give them the benefit of the doubt. But it kept happening so I stopped watching. Mildly disappointed that Adam turned out to be a sexist arsehole but he was starting to get a bit boring and smug anyway so meh.

100% , I would be amazed if they considered MN to be anything other than an homogenous mass of pearl clutching Karens to be ridiculed. (Don't know if they fling "Karen" around as an insult but it's long odds on).

Nevertrustacop · 22/03/2025 23:41

Is Alex as bad as the rest? I always think he seems okay.

ChunkyMunck · 22/03/2025 23:42

I honestly never knew this show was so controversial 😂

This.

He day he dissed JK Rowling was the day I switched off.

Is that the JK Rowling who chose as her nom de plume the man who invented gay conversion therapy? That JK Rowling? Do you approve of her doing that, too?

WearyAuldWumman · 23/03/2025 00:43

I used to watch it. Haven't for a good while.

Enjoy talking out your arse, do you? This has been debunked.

You do realise there are SEVERAL Robert Galbraith s, right? Such as;

Robert Galbraith (judge) (died 1543), Scottish Lord of Session
Robert Galbraith [fr] (1483−1544), Scottish logician who taught with Juan de Celaya
Robert Leslie Thomas Galbraith (1841–1924), Irish-born merchant and political figure in British Columbia
Robert Sharpe Galbraith (1857–1890), Mayor of Tauranga, New Zealand (1889–1890)
Robert Galbraith (Medal of Honor) (1878–1949), United States Navy Gunner's Mate, 3rd class
Rob Galbraith, photographer and photojournalism teacher

And, the one you are talking about is Robert HEATH. Not Robert Galbraith.

So put some more effort in next time before you show how ignorant and narrow-minded you are and embarrass yourself on here, @StMarie4me . Lastly, I wouldn't talk about gay conversion therapy if I were you when you support transing the gay away - actual gay conversion therapy.

Dillydollydingdong · 23/03/2025 03:53

God no! Boring nonsense!

DrinkReprehensibly · 23/03/2025 14:57

I used to enjoy it but now it's just not as funny. The ratio of adverts to enjoyable content is all off. They're always talking about what's already happened and what's coming up and I swear there are more adverts than actual programme with The Last Leg. They feel really low on material because they seem to just put into action any crap idea they have.

When it's not worth sitting through the adverts, I switch off. I guess I don't find preachy stuff especially funny. It's got really political for something that was originally created to link in with the paralympics.

Carity · 23/03/2025 21:30

Just watching them show the red head guys instagram post about getting a helium balloon off the ceiling. Seems a bit, boring and..what? It’s not the most interesting story. Certainly not worthy of the insane laughter of the audience.
live got funnier mates down the pub tbh.

Sugarnspicenallthingsnaice · 23/03/2025 21:37

I quite like Adam Hills but I'm an Aussie and he was really funny on the show he got famous for here before taking off to the UK. (Spicks and Specks, it's a music game show.) He lives near me when he's back home.

Previously I'd watch The Last Leg if it was on, but now I've completely switched to subscription/on demand TV it's not the kind of thing I go looking for.

notnorman · 23/03/2025 22:19

Load of shite

WaffleParty · 23/03/2025 22:29

I always watch it. I find the sketches a bit cringe, but really enjoy the chat. I am a liberal leftie though so they are speaking my language.

BibiLynn · 23/03/2025 23:04

TinyRebel · 21/03/2025 23:56

Used to occasionally, but they’re an awful bunch of misogynistic arseholes cloaked in woke.

Yep. It’s so preachy and they’re all insufferable. Load of shite like all the rest of the so called (approved by the regime) comedy that gets churned out now. I couldn’t suffer more than a minute of this self congratulatory smugfest of a show.

I’m not sure 3 men, two of whom are quite misogynistic count as liberal lefties…

floppybit · 24/03/2025 00:33

Fooksticks · 21/03/2025 22:56

Stopped watching it when Adam came out in support of men in women's sports.

Yep, same here. And he has daughters, spineless prick.

I don’t think they are misogynistic, but hey 🤷‍♀️ you do you and choose not to watch it if you think they are.

heartsinvisiblefury · 24/03/2025 07:08

For some reason even just the trailer for it makes me feel sick. Adam Hill the main presenter just puts me off, his voice, his smile, everything - the other two are ok but how they manage to sit through a show with him being as insufferable as he is just baffles me.

Sinkintotheswamp · 24/03/2025 07:09

I used to love it but then Adam turned into a sexist idiot who doesn't have a problem with men in women's sports.

Presumably he's also OK with able bodied athletes competing in the Paralympics. Knob.
