I used to watch it religiously, and they had a lot of good things to about disability, and also about politics (they hate Trump), but then the misogyny started to ramp up. They took the piss out of a woman (guest?) for not wanting to do her daily run after dark, and that was when I switched off for good

It was superb back in 2012, when it was started alongside the Paralympics.

It remained really funny for a few years after that, but stopped being unmissable a few years ago, and, when I watched a bit of one recently, it had gone further downhill.

I used to really enjoy it but since they stated that they believe TWAW, I just can't be bothered with it anymore. Its lost it's critical edge.Also,just don't find it funny at all now. Shame...

Personally I find Free Speech Nation on a Sunday evening to be more intelligent, challenging and relevant these days.

I enjoy it at the end of the night. Particularly when there is sport events happening.

This. I used to watch it and really enjoy it, but they gradually got more and more preachy and holier than thou, and them giving JK Rowling shite was the last straw.

Chris O'Dowd being on there steaming drunk though is still one the the greatest bits of TV in the last 20 years though.

Like many others, I used to watch it every week. Was brilliant back in the day with the Paralympics. But yes, smugger than smug nowadays, all pronouns and twaw and did I see that they had that foul Jordan wotzit on recently, the little prick. And the singing at the end of the show is painfully cringeworthy.

I can't imagine for one second they are losing any sleep over a Mumsnet contingent shuddering over them 😆.

As for JK Rowling...eh...she stands up for Posie Parker who calls for employers to refuse employment to trans people and for landlords to refuse housing to trans people.

Me too. It was funny years ago but it hasn't stood the test of time they are up their own arses.

If you find yourself in a position where you're backing someone up who has called for landlords to refuse housing to trans people, simply on the basis of their trans status, and to refuse employment to someone, simply on the basis of their trans status, you should be shuddering at yourself.

Several people on this thread have referenced the mocking of JK Rowling as reasons they don't want to watch The Last Leg. I am suggesting she is fair game on the basis of what we know.

We also know she is proponent of free speech and no doubt will not want discussion to be shut down, as you appear to be trying to do.
