Oh This Life! I loved that to the point of adoration when it was on in the mid 90s. But did anyone catch that '10 years on' palaver that was on telly a couple of months ago. Just proves that the programme was definitely of its time. Now the characters just came across as a bunch of twats

Tinker · 13/05/2008 13:12

Sopranos

Tinker · 13/05/2008 13:13

Oh and all of those 24, Lost, Prison Break, Heroes, Desperate Housewives, Torchwood, Dr Who as well

GetOrfMoiLand · 13/05/2008 13:14

Come Dine With Me is good. I had never heard of it until 2 weeks ago, me and my dd spent a rainy afternoon watching a whole series back-to-back. Was very funny

jingleyjen · 13/05/2008 13:14

the OC
greys anatomy
house
hollyoaks
corronation street
lost
the west wing
footballers wives

oh so many

binkleandflip · 13/05/2008 13:14

It's the voiceover that is hilarious

PuppyMonkey · 13/05/2008 13:14

Never seen Gavin and Stacey - I just never seem to be in when it's on. It's the bees knees apparently.

Never seen 24 either or that Prison Break thing or Curb Your Enthusiasm. Watched the first episode of Desperate Housewives and had to switch off cos I couldn't stand the way the narrator spoke. And as I've said on another thread, just don't get the fuss about Sex and the City...

Apart from those though, I'll watch any old shit!

EachPeachPearMum · 13/05/2008 13:14

Ooh- VT- I just watched Prison Break series one- last week! Talk about gripping!
Couldn't stop. Booooring DH rationed us to 3 a night...

tigana · 13/05/2008 13:14

Mighty Boosh - nope, sorry, don't 'get' it.

Tinker · 13/05/2008 13:15

Ugly Betty is crap too, one unfunny joke.

tigana · 13/05/2008 13:15

oh, saw Gavin & Stacey last night for 1st time... meh...

OrmIrian · 13/05/2008 13:17

All of those.

But DH and didn't watch Life on Mars for the first series and then discovered it second time round. Loved it. Seem to remember we were the same with Red Dwarf year ago.

chisigirl · 13/05/2008 13:17

Friends
Star Trek
The Simpsons

UnquietDad · 13/05/2008 13:19

EastEnders - vile people I'd cross the road to avoid, shouting at each other in markets and pubs.

Coronation Street - I just don't get the nation's obsession with it.

Sex and the City - stupid, vacuous, shoe-obsessed, unattractive, materialistic women fixating on "finding a man" to vaildate themselves, lauded by stupid people as "feminism".

Ugly Betty - I can't see the point of it.

Pushing Daises - ditto.

Bo Selecta - The unfunniest "comedy" ever seen.

imaginewittynamehere · 13/05/2008 13:20

Spooks, 24, lost, Dr Who, Desperate Hosewives, Casualty, Heroes,

UnquietDad · 13/05/2008 13:21

And my unmissables are: Doctor Who, Lost, The Apprentice and Spooks. If you don't get those, you don't get TV!

southeastastra · 13/05/2008 13:21

dr who is pretty daft and stupid too imo
grown men fixated and obsessed with a tv show

PuppyMonkey · 13/05/2008 13:24

Ooh yes, agree about Ugly Betty, what a croc of shite.

Corrie!! Corrie!!? How can you slag off Corrie, UQD?

UnquietDad · 13/05/2008 13:26

Well, calling it "Corrie" is unlikely to endear me to it... It's just... an everyday story of extremely dull Northern folk.

southeastastra - actually, men, women and children - Dr Who has the biggest "family" audience of any BBC show, so NURRRRR!

southeastastra · 13/05/2008 13:27

ud peed me off with his descrption on satc

UnquietDad · 13/05/2008 13:27

defend SATC then!

GetOrfMoiLand · 13/05/2008 13:27

Oh Bo Selecta - dismally, dismally unfunny. I just don't get it.

Same as Little Britain. Stupid, repetetive offensive humour dressed up as clever-cleverness and self-aware irony.

Curb your Enthusiasm is very very funny though, especially the early series.

I haven;t seen Pushing Daisies but it looks like nonsense. Anna Friel is up there with Keira Knightley and Winona Ryder as one of most annoying and useless actresses going, imo, so not surpising I haven't watched it.

southeastastra · 13/05/2008 13:27

i have to go out

PuppyMonkey · 13/05/2008 13:28

So you don't shorten Dr Who to Doccie then?? . Corrie is best written thing on the telly...

themoon66 · 13/05/2008 13:31

Sex in the City
Heroes
24
Dr Who
Ugly Betty
Gray's Anatomy
ER
