Wow, three of Marty's dishes got terrible scores.

To be fair, Stevie produed better dishes, Marty may have been calmer but he also ballsed up a couple of dishes.

But not just tasteless, but actively unpleasant. My mac'n'cheese was lovely!

Very rude, I was just thinking how good it is that a TV show is showing the brutal reality of living with type 1 diabetes and come on here to see you all acting like it's a walk in the park and he's being dramatic. You're sounding exceptionally ableist.

This week was awful. I remember last years NI round we’re shocking too!

I found this week's shows very stressful to watch.

Well, we’ll remember that for a long time. Both chefs must have been mortified if they watched it.

Poor Marty, beavering away so stoically whilst everything went to shit around him, but his food just didn’t land for the judges.

Stevie's problems didn't seem related to his diabetes, more to poor planning and ensuing panic. Stevie seems like a lovely guy and was quite funny and really emotional at the end. I just felt sorry for Marty as he was quietly focused on getting things up on time, possibly at the expense of perfect execution, whereas Stevie was allowed a lot of leeway and was coached through the process by Andi. I did think Stevie was better overall but he seemed to go to pieces quite easily.
