I was surprised Benita went through. I liked the colour changing magician and Lazy Generation.

This was an odd one.

Magician (Korean one ) was the clear winner.

First boy dancing - very silly he ever got through

Benita : certainly not "winner" worthy. I'm really surprised at that one. Quite boring to watch actually.

Abba ladies: would be fantastic as a holiday camp entertainment. Probably not BGT winner worthy.

Proposal magician: ridiculously staged. It was bordering on "little Britain" how he couldn't say her name. It reminded me off Marjorie Dawes fat fighters where the Indian lady says something very clearly and Marjorie keeps saying "sorry, what ? I dunno , something about curry "

Jackass style boys : ridiculous that they ever got through

Unicycle lady : excellent but too "one trick pony"

CJ: awesome singer. Surprised he didn't get in top two

Where is the singing bin man and the hacker, the drummer with no arms? I’m sure they all got through to the semi-finals?

Ps are we ever going to find out what happened to Teddy? I assume not ....

Although, admittedly I am sick of magicians

This year's run has been my least favourite... Actually NOT disappointed that I'm working next Saturday!

Have to agree with all of this tbh!

It is absolutely ridiculous. I seem to recall it was good in the early days with singers, dance acts like Diversity and actually interesting magicians. It's become an absolute parody of itself and is like a wet Wed night's entertainment at Butlins.

It really has had its day.

Agreed. It's been very weak this year. I don't think it was helped by having the semi finals every weekend instead over over the whole week. They dragged it out too long. I got bored.

Spot on with your observations, especially the magician unable to say her name. That was cringeworthy.

I did like the lady on the bike though. Amazing talent.

@SquashedMallow I loved the Korean magician. He was fantastic. Would love to see him again.

Lazy Generation are already on Comedy Central and did quite well on AGT where the nettles were cacti. They were better in the heats. What they did last night was a bit slow and the tennis ball bit didn't really work on TV.

I like the Korean man but, again, so much of the staging is overly busy so you can see the acts less well. I thought he was a bit slower than in the heats.

The magician was truly truly awful. There is some controversy between West Ham fans ,the magician and this Jess but I can't figure it out. A lot seems to be vanishing from social media.

The whole Constance/Concert thing makes no sense either , nor does why he wrote Du for Dean.

I suspect Amanda has to help Simon out with the reading because he is too vain to wear reading glasses or possibly actually has a degenerative eye thing.

Wasn’t really impressed with any. The magician was the best, but very similar to the X magician from the past (half expected him to appear).

The singer could sing and had a powerful voice, but the song was all on one level. It just missed being completely shouty but wasn’t far off.

Bonita - imported talent. Acrobatic act.

First dancer - I know he’s been injured but wasn’t superb . Not on level off George Sampson or Diversity.

Unicycle act - you’ve seen it once, don’t need to see again.

And it had variety! Know this is wayyy back but still remember the first year had some blokes making drinks but somehow made a whole act of it and it worked! Now its all mostly singers with a few different people thrown in. Plus become more obvious who was invited in etc the whole golden buzzer. Lost its charm

Astounded you didn’t rate Benita- she has an exceptional talent!

Du was the ladies surname whose first name he didn't get right.

But how did the magician know that? Did she tell him? I thought she just said her first name and that her boyfriend was called Dean.
