It does sound a bit boring tbh

I’ve always found Zack quite underwhelming really. It feels as if he was only introduced so that Sharon had a proper family member. None of the big storylines he’s had have landed or made him any more interesting. He was bolted on as Martin’s best friend after they’d known each other 5 minutes which was annoying.

The Nicola relationship reveal was completely ridiculous. She has supposedly always been mad about Teddy but had a fling with her fitness instructor. Ok. I’m assuming it all happened before he became HIV positive as he hasn’t mentioned his status to her and if he’s Barneys dad it was 16 years ago.

I knew I recognised him from somewhere 😀

I thought I must’ve missed something when I read that spoiler.

Maybe we find out in the remaining episodes this week?

Zac had potential at first and his story with Whitney and the baby that didn't live ( Peach) was well done , but since then it's been boring this new story with him and Nicola is a definite bolt on because being a foster parent and chef ( sometimes ) isn't interesting enough especially since Whitney left.

That means Zack would have slept with Nicola when he was around 20 years old, is that about right?!?

Just wanted to say how well cast the little girl who plays Hope is imho. She really looks like a mixture of Stacey and Martin irl!

Hope and Lily do look like Stacey. Some good casting there. Unlike Barney and Zac who look nothing alike , not even his mum.
Yep, Zac must have been with Nicola when he was only 20.
He doesn't seem the type to like older women , but she is a bit of floozy !

No. They just happen to have the same surname irl.

Noooooo!!! Was his head on straight then? Junior always looks sideways. I can't believe it's the same person!

I like Zack, but I am not sure I'm on board for the Barney storyline.

Why did no-one point out to Cindy there is no evidence that Kathy hit her?
Presumably she’s going on a break and will be back to annoy us soon.

I thought Ruby was good tonight. She and Roman were really good together which isn’t easy with such a small child.

Nigel - I" want to die on my own terms". Well Nigel in that case I assume you’re going to jump off a bridge or walk into the sea. It's hard to know if Nigel is supposedly to be monumentally stupid or if the writers don't have the first clue about dementia.

I wonder if the Ruby actress has lost a bit too much weight? I think she's looking far too thin nowadays and her nails tonight were awful 😖

Louisa has always been tiny, she looks the same as usual to me (apart from the teeth!) She was in a scene with Lacey who was 8.5 months pregnant so bound to look skinny in comparison.

Why is Linda homeless?
Were the kids being looked after by everyone at The Vic when she was in rehab? She looks fantastic lately.

Re: the comments about Luisa/Ruby's acting, is she only as good as the script?
I remember Ruby in EE when she was much younger, and she left after her boyfriend finished with her, I think he was cheating, she was best friends with Stacey in those days.

I think she's homeless because her home blew up in an explosion?!

Louisa Lytton is fine in her role, I remember the story when Ruby was raped and she was really good in that too.

Someone upthread mentioned the friendship between Linda and Phil, she's friends with Alfie too, I hope he forgives her for insulting him when she was at rock bottom. Alfie did not overstep the mark re their friendship, he was just there for her when she needed him.

Duh ! I feel really dumb now ! I just can not imagine The Vic not opening up for their regulars, but I watched the locals all gathering in the cafe. Where are the Carter family staying?

They were all in the B&B but Sonia offered to let them/some stay in her house, saying Dot gave her a home when she had nowhere to go so she’d like to do the same.

Thank goodness Cindy's has cleared off. Got sick of her saying 'Someone left me to die in the street' every two minutes like a demented parrot. Her stupidity is second only to her ignorance. A
s someone here said, there's no evidence against Cathy or anyone else. Also, there's no such charge as 'attempted murder with intent'.
Agree Linda looks good, has she done something to her face? How old are Stacey's kids meant to be, they are all quite big?

I know @Bunionbabe - “attempted murder with intent” was a nails on the blackboard moment here too.

Sharon’s secret will surely be something to do with Grant that she wants to keep from Jumpers (hence the relevance of Barney overhearing it). Her thing with Jumpers doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anyway. Grant on the prowl, having flirted with Linda, might well end up round Sharon’s in the near future I would think.

I think my dislike of Grant clouds things a bit but it does seem like he's got two moods - smarmy like he's been with Sharon and now Linda or growly like when he walked in to hear Nigel and Yolande talking

It was interesting that Nigel said about wanting to die on his terms, agree it's odd for a dementia patient as sadly he's going to have very little clue, I wonder if Grant will take him off somewhere where he can do that before it's too advanced? I don't think Portugal have agreed the legislation yet? I don't think I trust EE to get this storyline right tbh

What on earth was that last night with Linda? Is he supposed to have irresistible animal magnetism or something? She needs to have a word with Bianca.

I am not surprised he kisses Sharon. He can't help himself. And she isn't really interested in Teddy, absolutely no chemistry there. But if she has any intention of getting back with Phil she needs to keep right away from Grant.

I think Linda just looks lovely because they are letting her wearing makeup! She looked awful before she left.

Good LORD Sharon and Grant! I don't really want to think about it too much, but the magnetism! The noises!

I guess when you've had a near death experience, you get into a joy-of-life, let's shag the bad ex thing, but blimey!
