This is our tenth anniversary of sharing our thoughts on Our Girl series one and have subsequently watched the other three series, followed by Soldier Soldier, The Musketeers, Spooks and Hustle so thought it was time to try something different. Goodness they are pushing the boat out for the American dinner.

Someone has taken revenge on Thomas "Are you not popular downstairs?" Oh Lord G, you don't know your valet at all.

It's amazing how well Thomas and O'Brien play Lord G and Cora.

Oh Thomas is in a tizzwas

Love the word tizzwas - ages since I've heard that

No shirts and no dinner what's to be done. Carson will faint

Granny America takes charge of the disaster - she calls it an indoor picnic, I think we'd call it a buffet.

"I thought you were a waiter"

Violet is wonderful.

For a makeshift meal, there seems to be plenty of spare food around!

The American maid took the shirts I think.

Cora's mum to the rescue. American idea of eating all over the house.

Poor Mrs Hughes, she must be so worried.

Edith and the old Duffer agree to marry. She's delighted and he does genuinely seem to like her. To be fair, I do think he's a very nice man, just a shame that he's a bit too old for her.

So much for Lord G's conversation with Sir Anthony. It looks as if he and Lady Edith are going to be engaged.

The old codger seems to be making his move

Mary and Violet think they've persuaded Granny America but they are wrong. She's not going to save them this time.

Thomas has been well and truly had! Serves him right.

Like that - Lord Grantham wasn’t taken, he died.

Mr Bates cellmate is a nasty type, but he doesn't know who he's messing with. Mr Bates is no pushover. You're always left wondering just a little about what Mr Bates has and hasn't done.

Thank goodness Granny America is going to pack her bags and depart across the pond.
