Barrow has kidnapped Lord G's dog in order, I am guessing, to ingratiate himself later when he "finds" the dog again.

What on earth is Thomas up to.

Thomas is up to his old tricks - looks like he's planning on hiding Isis.

Anna and Mr Bates have a poignant meeting and he forgives those who spoke against him. Could this be the last farewell?

Mrs Patmore has a go on the Ouija board and it looks like she's getting a message for Daisy to "Go to the Farm - make Dad happy"

Talking of hanging, I live quite close to where the last hangman in the UK ran a pub once he gave up his gruesome role. My Dad used to love pointing this out when I was a child.

Time for a search party as they muster the whole estate to look for the missing Isis. What joy to have such resources at your disposal.

Matthew is asking for the details of Mary's disgrace. Looks like he's thought about what his mother said and wants to find out.

Carson is all for the reputation of the household. He's very black and white about these things.

Mary confesses and Matthew "tries" to understand but still says she must not marry Sir Pilchard

Ahhh....Mathew says he wouldn't and couldn't despise Mary. That is sweet and kind.

Thomas goes back to retrieve the dog.... but she has disappeared! Thomas' plan has seriously backfired on him.

O'Brien advises Thomas fe the dog. She really has changed

Mrs Patmore has persuaded Daisy to go to the farm. She really is quite gullible but it's for a good reason.

Thomas can't find the dog. She's not where he left her.

Mr Mason is so sweet with Daisy and when he asks her to be his daughter now it's a really heartwarming moment.

Thomas in a real.panic now. Daisy visits Mr Mason and he tells her about babies who have been lost and that William wanted his dad to have her at least. Another good reason for marrying

The wandering dog returns it seems, but someone else found her. Lord G is impressed that Thomas has been looking for her - he's nearly as gullible as Cora,
