The drama continues…

Ooooo, opportunity for the blast chiller to scupper chances!

namechangingeasy · 19/02/2025 20:34

Evening, overall I prefer Ahmed food. I’m not sure they would choose a vegetarian main course, which is where Minal scored highly so far.

EsmaCannonball · 19/02/2025 20:34

Callum's pre-dessert just shows they need to do a series inspired by the British art world. The banquetworthiness could be off the scale.

EsmaCannonball · 19/02/2025 20:35

They also need to do a series inspired by British films.

LaMarschallin · 19/02/2025 20:35

Yorkshire-born DH reckons one of them should make a Bombe Suprise to celebrate Guy Fawkes.
Not sure about his connection to the brief of Great Britons 🤔

That would be great

Minal hun it's dessert. Why are there veggies

Well, we had that William Wallace main course.

CapabilityBrownsHaHa · 19/02/2025 20:37

"oddly chewy" is never going to be a compliment....

namechangingeasy · 19/02/2025 20:37

I don’t want a worthy dessert of vegetables, especially as the first course is definitely vegan.

PotterHead1985 · 19/02/2025 20:37

Ah Callum, Mushroom in pud, no ta

Sunbird24 · 19/02/2025 20:38

No Callum. No mushrooms in dessert, it’s the only course we can reasonably expect to be safe from them!
You can go off people…

Wolfcub · 19/02/2025 20:38

Ok vegetables, mushrooms and no sugar. I'm going to the cake shop

CapabilityBrownsHaHa · 19/02/2025 20:39

Nooooo! What's going on here! Where's the chocolate?? Mushroom, salt, veggies, no refined sugar?!? Travesty.

Very quickly

EsmaCannonball · 19/02/2025 20:39

Ooooh, Emily Brontë.

Heather, yes.

Mushroom ice-cream, no.

Fuck's sake, Heathcliff and Cathy were not a pair of foragers.

Sunbird24 · 19/02/2025 20:39

I had a Mars bar (or cheap equivalent) for my pudding tonight.

I'll have an éclair please

Sunbird24 · 19/02/2025 20:40

A warm-ish, sweet, vegetable broth… 😩

OP posts:
CapabilityBrownsHaHa · 19/02/2025 20:40

A Mars bar is a proper dessert. Nothing wrong with that!

littlbrowndog · 19/02/2025 20:40

Chocolate pudding here. Not some vegetables

Melt it down with a bit of milk then pour over ice cream 🙌🙌🙌

EsmaCannonball · 19/02/2025 20:42

And now vegetable soup.

I get that the no-sugar dessert connects to the brief but I think the chefs need to remember that the point of the show is to cook utterly delicious, generous, spectacular-looking food. There are no extra points for challenging yourself to miss foodstuffs out or to use unexpected ingredients.

namechangingeasy · 19/02/2025 20:42

From the descriptions, I’d definitely prefer a mars bar to the things on offer from these three. So now heard all the dishes, not one single one I’d think banquet worthy.

Wolfcub · 19/02/2025 20:43

I feel like we are heading for three falls
