Am I Being Unreasonable Series 2 - Starts 5 Feb - NO SPOILERS

The hugely anticipated second series of Am I Being Unreasonable starts on Wednesday 5th February.

I had mixed feelings about the first series, but will be watching again for Lenny Rush alone. He absolutely stole the show in the first season. A tremendous young actor.

Also, bingo cards at the ready for any MN references!

I felt so clever with the literary references to my GCSE English poems - and such a compelling story. Mumsnet references.... It had it all!

Just listened to the DMC interview on Scott Mills and she said that yes, obviously AIBU was based on Mumsnet. She also said that after the first series was aired, she came on here to see what people were saying about it. She was shocked to see that some people found Nic to be quite the narcissist as she'd apparently based the character on herself!

She's also on Woman's hour at 10am today.

Really looking forward to this.

I noticed this morning that all episodes were up! I binged 5!
I will keep my mouth shut though and happy to discuss at weekly pace if that's what others would prefer.

Watched ep 1 tonight. Lenny Rush really is a fabulous actor. I wonder if DMC is going to have to wear that coat through much of the series as she was pregnant during filming and then they had to pause it when she went into labour 7 weeks early.

Episode 1 seemed a bit chaotic, so hoping it gets into its groove. I think DMC said they had to rewrite Ep 1 due to cast and crew availability though, so I’ll stick with it.

I loved it, even though I had forgotten a lot of the first series and had to have a bit of a recap. The one who plays her son Lenny Rush is just phenomenal.

The first series started out a bit chaotic too, but it did settle down.
I may have to watch series one and the final episode again. Reading the re cap didn't help much , although I do remember the train part

I haven't seen it yet, but chaotic is sort of what I'm expecting as it's certainly a word I'd have associated with the first series. Hoping to watch the first episode later today so I'll pop back after that.

I quite liked it. I think the first episode was chaotic, but I guess that was a reflection of what the main character was feeling. I'm interested to see where this goes. The second episode settled in a bit more.

The 'friend' is well played too. It is really difficult to describe her character, so that is good. You don't quite know what is going on with her.

I liked DMC hair in this.

I was looking forward to this and Amandaland last night, but thought this was a bit better, but then I've only seen one ep of Amandaland and haven't got used to the characters in that. It was odd seeing her for an entire episode.

It's nice to actually have something to watch of an evening instead of mediocre Harlan Coben adaptions on Netflix. I was losing the will to live a week ago.

I've just watched the first 3 episodes ( I'm working nights so switched off to get some sleep) I enjoyed it so far but it wasn't what I was expecting at all. I thought it was going to be a light hearted comedy (motherland style) but it actually feels pretty dark. I'm interested to see how it goes and will definately binge watch the rest at the weekend

The first series wasn't what I was expecting either when it was on tv. I imagined a comedy , but it's not and went off in different directions.
