January flew by in the blink of an eye
Leanne and Steve are getting close
Cassie is drugging Ken day after day
Dose after dose after dose

Abi witnessed Mason's very sad death
She's struggling to keep it together
Carla and Swain are still an item
I wonder if they'll last forever

Bethany and Daisy are always at war
Over Daniel I know what a surprise
Gemma and Chesney are off on a trip
And Nick and Toyah are making us roll our eyes

Kevin may have cancer that's all that he needs
But Tim and Sally seem sound
Amy seems troubled I hope she's OK
And with Leanne and Tracey, mischief is abound

David and Shona are always on their toes
Scared of Harvey's heavies coming at them
Eva has left, will a few more will leave soon?
Will things be quite different by the next full moon?

All the old regulars don't appear much these days
Or any funny storylines or good feeling
It's just like The Bill with all convicts and thugs
And crime and violence that just leaves us reeling

Daisy is pregnant but who's the daddy
She doesn't seem to want to know
I wonder if we'll ever know or she'll keep it a secret
Now that she's decided she is going to keep it!

DeeDee's still pregnant I think but she's gone quiet
Lauren's been cleared of her 'crime.'
Debbie's still sassy, and Ronnie's still sexy
And Kit is in Corrie all the time!

It could have been any of them, although I doubt it was David. Probably Logan, could be Abi. Obviously if it was Abi we will be expected to forgive her within 3 episodes.

It was deliberately filmed so we couldn't tell what was happening, why Shona got out and Max didn't. I even wound back and it still didn't make sense.

No it didn't did it, it was like Shona teleported out of the house!

I cannot say I would miss Max, he is nasty piece of work who has been involved with all sorts including upskirting, drink spiking, breaking and entering, racism and terrorism. Furthermore he never shows any regret consistently coming across as a smug, entitled brat even after he was sent to youth offenders.

Although I do not want him to die, we have had one dead teenager already this year.

We definitely have enough dead people already in Corrie and they do not even stay dead. They keep showing up on laptops, whether pre recorded or AI version and now in flashbacks. Nearly ever week we have someone mentioning an anniversary of a death and there are all the physical memorials - Seb's garden, Oliver's tree, Rose's bush, Maxine's bench, whatever happened to Maddy's mural and Luke's shrine? There will not be enough time or space for all of them.

Much as I dislike Max, I doubt they would kill him off because he's part of the Platt family. If he leaves they would want the option of bringing him back later, possibly (hopefully) with a new head. As this is the ridiculous world of Corrie and he'll probably be good as new in a few weeks.

Has anyone seen the news today regarding a permanent schedule change from January 2026

I thought the fire was started by David’s dodgy mate from prison - Andy is it? He met up with him just before.

Luckily, David the dog was at Nicks (who he's never been seen with before and where he's never been seen before) so that was a lucky break for him, being left in a flat he doesn't know, on his own! 🙄

Dog David was at Nick’s the other day when they were all moving into Sarah’s and then human David said he was going off to stay somewhere else - then showed him at Nick’s with dog David!

I assume that as Toyah has been injured Leanne will be in the frame as she burned the passports in the flat the other week. She also has form for arson as she burned down her own restaurant. Hope and Jack are the other arsonists on the street and Tracy has accidently started a fire. Even Roy has started one when he was sleep walking. That is quite a list of people with form even before they get on to the friendly neighbourhood gangsters

I'm getting really fed up with the high body count. If Todd was on screen more doing funerals I would accept it.
David the dog also needs to appear more.
And people spend so much in Roy's, surely Carla could advise him on an updated interior, even if it is shabby chic.

Roy's does look a total state though, to the point of unhygienic. I can't believe anyone would want to eat a bun in there.

It’s one of those weird things you just accept because it’s Coronation Street.
Can’t understand why she’d hire ‘entertainment’ anyway, there’s only ever about 6 people at these parties.

@WimpoleoftheBaileys It didn't look as if the actors got anywhere near a flame But I also noticed Toyah was wearing trousers, rather than her usual floaty dresses, maybe to preserve her modesty when being lugged out of the house - when Nick eventually got round to it!

From January 2026, Corrie will be reduced to 4 30 minute episodes a week, plus 1 1hour episode.
