January flew by in the blink of an eye
Leanne and Steve are getting close
Cassie is drugging Ken day after day
Dose after dose after dose

Abi witnessed Mason's very sad death
She's struggling to keep it together
Carla and Swain are still an item
I wonder if they'll last forever

Bethany and Daisy are always at war
Over Daniel I know what a surprise
Gemma and Chesney are off on a trip
And Nick and Toyah are making us roll our eyes

Kevin may have cancer that's all that he needs
But Tim and Sally seem sound
Amy seems troubled I hope she's OK
And with Leanne and Tracey, mischief is abound

David and Shona are always on their toes
Scared of Harvey's heavies coming at them
Eva has left, will a few more will leave soon?
Will things be quite different by the next full moon?

All the old regulars don't appear much these days
Or any funny storylines or good feeling
It's just like The Bill with all convicts and thugs
And crime and violence that just leaves us reeling

Daisy is pregnant but who's the daddy
She doesn't seem to want to know
I wonder if we'll ever know or she'll keep it a secret
Now that she's decided she is going to keep it!

DeeDee's still pregnant I think but she's gone quiet
Lauren's been cleared of her 'crime.'
Debbie's still sassy, and Ronnie's still sexy
And Kit is in Corrie all the time!

Well that came out of nowhere! Poor Max.

But what dreadful effects! We used to have better fires when I was doing my cabin crew training! The filming of that reminded me of an old film from when I was little- called She, I think. The lady was meant to be fireproof and the film had fake flames everywhere.

Aadi said what we were all thinking about Amy’s options for getting home!

I liked the scenes with Sarah and Todd. Todd is always good value.

I don’t care about Abi but at least Debbie is getting some screen time.

Very poor production values for the fire. This should have been a big episode but it felt a bit lame.

I was scared Todd would try to rescue Max.

How did Shona manage to get out? But then couldn't get the door open again. It's like I blinked and missed it.
Looks like Max is a goner then. Poor Lauren just can't get a break can she.

Shona and Max went upstairs together but Shona managed to get back down and escape. Why didn't Max do the same and get back downstairs with her. Or was he in a different room up there and... oh I've no clue. Looks like he'll be looking for other acting roles though. 😕

If this doesn't tip Abi over the edge I don't know what will. Surely she'll be written out before long. 🤞

And who started the fire? Was it Logan, or did David do it for insurance?

I thought Max and Shona came back down the stairs together. Did he go back up again?

Poor Lauren. I wonder what will happen to her now? Will she go and live permanently with Wendy Flamin' Crozier? Or will she go to Belfast, which was her plan whilst Joel was pretending to find her accommodation and flights there? Did she have family or something in Belfast?

Or will she end up living with DeeDee and Frankie's donor sibling?

Or will she end up with Frankie's dad Bobby?

I thought it was Abi who started the fire! Hence my comments about her in my post above. 😟

Max did come downstairs again, no idea why he didn’t get out of the door.

Maybe max and mason can have a joint funeral.

I think David's dodgy mate from prison put the accelerant and matches through the letterbox. But I guess we'll have weeks of suspects: Hope and her ouija board candles (she had form), Leanne following Toyah (Leanne has form and notice), Abi (motive) following Toyah, Logan/Damon (motive) or David (insurance jobby)

Max and Shona came down together and she was holding onto him, so why didn't they both make it to the locked, unlocked, locked, unlocked (?) back door, because they knew Lily wasn't in the house by then?! Made no sense to me at all!

Abby shoved Toyah, who fell and hit her head on the worktop corner I think?

Luckily, David the dog was at Nicks (who he's never been seen with before and where he's never been seen before) so that was a lucky break for him, being left in a flat he doesn't know, on his own! 🙄

I loved how Sarah shouted Kit, when they got to the house, he ran over, asked if anyone had called the fire brigade, then stood there! Was she expecting him to do something, whip out his hose or something? He's a copper not a fireman!

I agree about Kevins balls being shoved in everyones face, so to speak! I think they could have raised awareness better than him randomly telling anyone in earshot!

Now, here's a cliffhanger for you... Audrey was absolutely nowhere to be seen, despite being mentioned a million times and considering that she was supposed to be delivering the cake! I'm betting she's randomly fallen asleep in the cupboard under the stairs at the Platts, clutching a bottle of sherry and shouting, no I'm fine, there's nothing wrong with me, I'm just a bit tired ... I wait with bated breath for tomorrow nights episode!

Why on earth would Nick send his own nephew to check the upstairs of a burning building?

I wondered why the last thread was so quiet, then remembered there was a new one.

From what I could work out with the fire, and I rewound and watched it again.
Max and Shona couldn't get the back door open, Max went to find something to smash it with.

Shona teleported outside. Obviously she didn't, but they didn't show how she got out. When she went back to the door for Max there was a shadow across the window so I think a ceiling beam or something fell across it.

That was... bizarre.

The door was open.. then it was jammed shut... then Shona is miraculously outside but Max who was right with her was prevented from getting out by something that had fallen in front of the door.. and yet Shona had got out without smashing the glass panels at all? Surely if something fell across the open door, it would have taken the door off its hinges or jammed it open!

Getting proper bored of no one noticing that Abi's suffering raging PTSD/hallucinations now.

Me too. I wanted him, Lauren and Frankie to live happily ever after.
