She's struggling to keep it together
Carla and Swain are still an item
I wonder if they'll last forever

Bethany and Daisy are always at war
Over Daniel I know what a surprise
Gemma and Chesney are off on a trip
And Nick and Toyah are making us roll our eyes

Kevin may have cancer that's all that he needs
But Tim and Sally seem sound
Amy seems troubled I hope she's OK
And with Leanne and Tracey, mischief is abound

David and Shona are always on their toes
Scared of Harvey's heavies coming at them
Eva has left, will a few more will leave soon?
Will things be quite different by the next full moon?

All the old regulars don't appear much these days
Or any funny storylines or good feeling
It's just like The Bill with all convicts and thugs
And crime and violence that just leaves us reeling

Daisy is pregnant but who's the daddy
She doesn't seem to want to know
I wonder if we'll ever know or she'll keep it a secret
Now that she's decided she is going to keep it!

DeeDee's still pregnant I think but she's gone quiet
Lauren's been cleared of her 'crime.'
Debbie's still sassy, and Ronnie's still sexy
And Kit is in Corrie all the time!

I'm sick of all the crime and awful bullying scenes. Now we've got Dylan and Max both banged up with bullies. Prior to that it was Roy.

And he is planning to do it in Rosamund St

I am a David fan, the actor is very good, and David is usually funny and sarcastic. He isn’t well written lately because he’s caught the crime epidemic. I’m looking forward to seeing how the ‘accident’ (doesn’t) work out.

Daisy is clearly cruising for a fall. Kit knew what Jenny was trying to tell him. We finally saw Glenda! She was another DeeDee, never off screen, then disappeared for months.

Dylan got the fast forward treatment from me. I was glad to see Max get 6+ years though.

And yet again another criminal gets away with it. Cassie is the new Abi.

Kit will now be suspicious and won’t let it lie.

Im not a David fan, never have been. The Platt storylines have been boring gangsters for years. Enough please. Get them all bumped off. Come on Harvey!!

David is funny but his script is missing Gail.

The whole David and Harvey story is utterly ridiculous now. I did enjoy the scenes in Sally’s house for dinner. They were quite entertaining.

Although none of the lads Dylan is with look that frightening. They are so fresh faced and all have the same hair cut. It could be the boot camp stage of BGT with STC as the name of their new boy band.

The David storyline is stupid and I'm sick of it.
I thought Jenny was gonna let slip to Kit about the baby.
I bet that kid in with Dylan is the son of that new couple

I was looking forward to Sally's display of pretentious boasting of her fancy dinner party dishes. Didn't happen. There was a chance for the writers to redeem themselves just a bit. They'd rather ramp up the violence and crime.

Yes it was a bit grating that they focussed so much on Abi and Ronnie at the dinner party, rather than letting Sally go full Hyacinth.

It was also odd how David glibly rejected the option of going to the police as the all powerful Harvey the invisible gangster controls them too. I would have thought it may have been worth considering, at least give it a try before firmly plumbing for the hitman in Rosamund St option.

I like it as although she is quite risible, I also find myself emphasizing with her, after all she is just a woman who likes a few home comforts.

That is the strength of characters that have been built up over decades, you see their flaws and strengths.

There was one amusing little vignette when Tim and Kev were forced to shake hands like erring schoolboys 😂

Yes, more of Sally's pretensions would have been amusing - I see here more as Beverley than Hyacinth 😄

Sadly I think the non stop crime stories are here to stay. The writers and producers obviously think this is what the public want. To any reading this —hint - it’s not.

Interesting that Hope described her nan drugging an old man to steal his money as "not even that bad" 🤦‍♀️😂

Enjoyed Sally's mention of a "stubborn ring" or whatever it was 🤣

So we're really expected to believe David is going to get himself killed without begging Audrey for help? Plus Jesse has a bag of cash that he's just using to tart up his and Gail's house - might have been worth an ask. I'm sure between the whole family they could rustle up a few k? 🙄

She is always quite sweet with it.

She does not ask for much.

She is not the sort of snob who will never be happy, give her some fancy olives and cheese +pineapple on cocktail sticks and she is as happy as a pig in muck.

Hope did spend some time away in naughty school after all the firestarting. She hasn't been to prison yet but give her time.

And their Lanzarote tans show they haven’t been in the STC very long

I remember when Hope was fast tracked into that reform school in Birmingham. It was so ridiculous, IRL it would take months at least to diagnose and place a child with behavioural problems but Fizz managed to find a suitable place for her in a day and they just upped and left with a small suitcase lol (think the actress was going on mat leave).

Obviously did the trick as Hope returned even worse than before she went in!
