Bethany and Daisy are always at war
Over Daniel I know what a surprise
Gemma and Chesney are off on a trip
And Nick and Toyah are making us roll our eyes

Kevin may have cancer that's all that he needs
But Tim and Sally seem sound
Amy seems troubled I hope she's OK
And with Leanne and Tracey, mischief is abound

David and Shona are always on their toes
Scared of Harvey's heavies coming at them
Eva has left, will a few more will leave soon?
Will things be quite different by the next full moon?

All the old regulars don't appear much these days
Or any funny storylines or good feeling
It's just like The Bill with all convicts and thugs
And crime and violence that just leaves us reeling

Daisy is pregnant but who's the daddy

Poor Dylan being called 'posh' at the STC. This is a kid who spent years crammed into Eileen's house.

The other STC kids hardly look rough round the edges, Corrie hard lads rarely do - they all look recruited from stage school. They would be better off rounding some up off the streets.

@AmusedMaker she explained that it was because she had spent a lot of money on alternative therapies and the hotel. It sounds slightly odd but this is Corrie where they cannot be bothered to think up a coherent plot.

Yes that Bertie clip was hysterical. 🤣🤣. Where do they find all these wooden kids? There are so many good little actors out there, but they seem to use relatives of kids that are already in the show nowadays.

Im impressed how far ahead they film. I’ve known a spoiler for a few weeks (from someone I know who is often an extra on Corrie) and they’re not even close to it yet.

I thought Kevin really hit it on the head. He was absolutely brilliant. Whoever wrote that script knows what they’re on about. They got it exactly right.

The whole David/Harvey storyline is relentless, dragging on and a massive borefest. Seems like every other episode david is admitting to doing a job for that bloke then saying he won't do it again. Shona puts the hard word on him but just lets it go time and time again.

Perhaps he should put sugar in his petrol tank and frame someone for it. That's half of Harvey's money straightaway.

I agree. Entirely believable and it was almost as though the actor is/was just being natural in that awful knowledge of what he'd just been told at the hospital.

He looks in poor health and has done for a long time. I don't think the makeup department are giving him that look. 🫤

I had a lot of trouble telling the lads in the detention centre apart. They all had pleasant features and the same sort of hair. Dylan needs to get David in to turn him into another clone. He can pay the fee to Harvey. Every little helps.

Not more scenes in a young offenders institute. 😬 Corrie may as well just send every character straight there when they reach 16. What does it say about a soap when the most used sets are not the shop or the pub, but the prison, police station, courtroom and YOI.

It is quite sad to see the Platts fall apart. Helen Worth made the right decision getting out.

It looks fishy as it doesn't make sense for her to randomly pop up and bump into her nephew at a hotel he never usually goes to, accidentally leave a bag that tells everyone she's dying and now suddenly her card gets declined.

I don't think she's lying though, think it's just ridiculous scriptwriting, making things far more complicated than they need to be without any actual reason to.

Still sulking about them killing Mason off. Now they bring in a load of naughty lads…they had the best character for years. Says it all really.
I’m also done with the Platts. Don’t like Kev, but think his reaction is very realistic.
And Carla is presumably still on dialysis, when she’s not in the pub. No surprise there.

Dylan looks terrified in that place. The start of his horrendous suffering by those bullies. Hoping another tragedy isn't around the corner 😟

I had assumed this storyline was because the Dylan actor is doing his A levels and we wouldn't see him. But of course they can't resist yet more incarceration scenes.😠
