New thread for Episode 9!

And now (no expense spared)... here are ScruffMuffin's very unofficial Traitors Bingo Cards. No expense spared! Feel free to pick a colour (white, blue, pink, green or yellow) and play along tonight. We'll be playing here! Of course, you could use the excellent chart already supplied by another poster on the previous thread instead.

HOUSE RULES
If you hear something very similar to, but not identical to, the words on your chosen card, the other people in the room get to decide if it's close enough. If you're watching on your own, mark as you see fit.

Have fun!

I really don't think there's another hidden connection between anyone who is left. The odds of both relatives or similar still being in at this point, with no reveals, is low!

Why oh why is the Frankie and Freddie thing still being mentioned? Nobody inside is related now. Those two don't resemble each other even slightly. And PPs have seen photos of Frankie's sons!

As for who she looks like... she's a younger version of our family friend, Sue!!

She also looks just like my friend Jo.

The "Seer" could watch a player very closely once they know their status, to pick up on clues that could be used at the Round Table to support or refute an accusation from an "ordinary" player. So if the Seer knows that Charlotte is a traitor, for example, they would deliberately try to trip her up in order to get "evidence" for the Round Table, without revealing their own status as Seer. Obviously this requires a certain level of tact and intelligence, so it's obvious which players would be best suited for this role (and which wouldn't...😂) It's risky, though - as they would also need to be able to persuade the others. As we've seen so often in the past, a player's intelligence is often inversely proportional to their ability to influence others (especially those with below average IQ).

I think Alexander would be great at this, however I can imagine the likes of Joe and Leanne thwarting things by accusing him of being a traitor! Anyone who shows any sort of intelligence, particularly if they are able to articulate themselves well, are accused of being traitors. 🙄

I do feel that this time we haven’t got to know the players as well as in previous years. Yes I can’t be doing with sob stories but I would like a bit more back ground.

On that basis, he ought to hate Jake as well. I mean, they're all more intelligent than Joe, but Jake has shown it by his traitor-hunting.

It's quite interesting that Joe doesn't seem to go after women for being too clever. I suspect he just doesn't acknowledge that a woman could be brighter than him.

I reckon he fancies Jake. He made some.comment about if Jake wasn't already married, he'd propose to him or something along those lines after Linda got banished.

witchycat2 · 19/01/2025 12:57

There are photos of Frankie's 4 sons on her Instagram and none of them are Freddie!

Her oldest son is 18, Freddie is 22

Freddie is an only child

I don't think they are as interesting as people from previous years tbh, most of them anyway

dapsnotplimsolls · 19/01/2025 13:01

I don't really want any faffing with the formula in the last few episodes.

GetDressedYouMerryGentlemen · 19/01/2025 13:10

I had such high hopes for Leanne but she has been a real disappointment.

Last year I hoped Mollie would reveal that she wasn't as daft they thought she was, that she had sussed Harry Haircream and used their friendship to get to final then boot him out but it wasn't to be so I was really looking forward to someone 'playing' the naive, pretty blonde then dropping the masks at the last minute to show that you really shouldn't judge by appearances.

But Leanne has been so unpleasant in the last few episodes that I don't want that scenario to play out.

YesYesKitten · 19/01/2025 13:14

I think it's too late for a relationship reveal, I'd feel cheated as a viewer of it happened now.

Agreed I would put money on there being no more secret relationships

Yes and pointless to reveal so late in the game

outofofficeagain · 19/01/2025 13:20

What I don't like about Joe, is he is also very selfish.

When he was gunning for, was it Kas, everyone else was upset/guilty but his only thought was 'this will make me look bad now'

All of his comments are about himself.

This might be editing but, much like Leanne, it doesn't make you feel warmly towards them.

I see what you mean but to win you do need to be selfish and think about no 1.

As Claudia would say: 'what's the game called again?'

outofofficeagain · 19/01/2025 13:24

Yes and I totally get that. Dan for example.

But this isn't about game play, this is just about his behaviour towards others

whaddayawannado · 19/01/2025 13:30

Thinking about No1 and putting yourself first is okay as long as you do it on the quiet and don't annoy the crap out of everyone else so they dislike you.

myplace · 19/01/2025 13:47

The game needs a balance between team work to build the pot and identify traitors, and selfishness to keep yourself in the game.

There are two teams, one of which operates covertly. It is a team game, not and individual game. Traitors have more opportunity to be an individual than faithful, from what I can tell.

Well Joe and Leanne are still inexplicably in the game so it hasn't done them any harm so far!

Snowmanscarf · 19/01/2025 13:52

Although Joe, himself, has started to get a bit of heat on him now (can’t remember the reason why now).

Don't worry the players won't remember the reason either!

As an aside, Ed Gamble said 'click' on Friday's Uncloaked facepalm

I think Frankie looks a bit like Kim Cattrall (in her younger days)

@witchycat2 Ah I don’t see it. This will continue to annoy me!
