Except he was so pleased that he had picked Linda as a traitor on the train!

I think he will get murdered tonight as no one will vote him out now.

The train comment might have been a slip of the tongue in the excitement? Or he might have meant he noticed a change in her after the train? Or he might have meant that he suspected she'd be chosen as a traitor after chatting with her on the train? Who knows? The point is that he was right about her from the first round table; and I think it's fair enough that he'd be ecstatic. I think he comes across as a nice guy 😊

I grew to admire Fozia and found her interesting, more interesting than some of the others.

dapsnotplimsolls · 15/01/2025 23:56

At the moment, in terms of a winner, I'm Team AnyoneButJoe/Leanne. I reserve the right to have changed my mind by 10pm tomorrow!

Yes, I like Fozia and Alexander. I actually think their introduction civilised the group somewhat. Two intelligent sensible players. Prior to their reintroduction, I really wasn't enjoying this series at all.
I also felt sorry for them that everyone else seemed to care least about them having survived the card game because they're newer players - because they were altruistic on the first day when they left the train! I was rooting for Fozia, and I'm now rooting for Alexander.

Jake will never get banished as he’s so obviously a faithful because of the Linda thing. So needs murdering at some point so he doesn’t win!

Not for the next murder.

Maybe Alexander or Alex - to get eyes on Leanne and her out. Plus Alexander suspects Minah and Charlotte knows this.

dapsnotplimsolls · 16/01/2025 00:04

Unfortunately, I think Leanne will gather her minions against Alexander.

LeaveALittleNote · 16/01/2025 00:10

I’m surprised at how nasty Leanne got. It was not a good look, and it was very immature. I’m not rooting for her at all now.

JandamiHash · 16/01/2025 00:10

Just finished watching

Thank god Linda went

If Minah had brains she’d recruit Jake. Someone she could take to the end who would probably be happy to share the money

Charlotte and Minah should murder her. She’s too gobby and influential and inexplicably has Leon in the palm of her hand

Hmm, don’t you think Jake would overpower her and turn on her? She’s chosen someone who is unlikely to overpower her. I wasn’t sure at first, but now I think Charlotte was actually quite a good choice as she is unlikely to throw Minah under the bus.

JandamiHash · 16/01/2025 00:13

I’m not rooting for anyone. I don’t think any of them are especially nice. Maybe Anna because she seems to have had the metaphorical shit kicked out of her.

But all the “OMG I hope it’s Leon who survived we’re soooo close” is odd. Maybe because we’ve barely seen him on screen but considering they were all going mad over saving Fozia from the cage I think it was a bit OTT

I just think of I was in there I wouldn’t make friends. Even people I’ve been mates with for decades aren’t people I’d say “I love you guys” to.

Definitely. If they don’t murder either Leanne or Jake this time I’ll be very disappointed.

(I’m way too invested in this.)

I think that the “Traitor Hunter” thing could turn just as easily on Jake. But he’s Charlotte will play a clean game

Helpmyskin · 16/01/2025 00:14

Minah didn't recruit Jake because they're a couple, I stand by that theory!

I went off it for a bit as a PP said Jake has a fiance on Instagram, but he mentioned his wife tonight. Noone else has done this, there must be some significance.

Minah didn't recruit him because they are more likely to win money if they are on opposite teams.

Minah and Jake are absolutely not a couple, both Instagram accounts have photos from their respective weddings. I hope that was tongue in cheek.

I definitely don’t get the vibe that Jake would share the money by choice.

TheMadGardener · 16/01/2025 00:21

Jake, Anna, Frankie, Leanne need to go. But hard for Minah to murder Anna without coming under suspicion.

Jake himself admitted on camera that he is competitive, and he strikes me as someone who would not want to share the money with anyone. Minah knows that Jake is smart and they will be jostling to be top of the pecking order. Charlotte is a safe bet for now, as no one has suspected her for a while and Minah is able to maintain the upper hand with her.

Lentilweaver · 16/01/2025 00:23

So sad Fozia went. She was interesting.
Minah should have recruited Alexander. Hes a goner anyway as he's too posh.
Or Frankie.

APushbikeNamedReluctance · 16/01/2025 00:38

Think Minah has the brains not to recruit Jake.

He'd be a very bad choice as a fellow traitor. Plus he's a muppet.

Choux · 16/01/2025 00:38

FluffyPineapples · 15/01/2025 22:25

Can't see Minah getting to the end, suspicion is already starting to mount up against her. It's a shame she's stuck to this 'sisterhood' thing, as I think it'd be interesting to have one of the men as a traitor.

If Charlotte has any sense, she accepts and then tries throw Minah under the bus asap. But that's probably a bit too brutal.

Minah's strategy from now on should have been to recruit the people already under suspicion as traitor fodder. So Alexander tonight then push the Fozia was faithful so he must be a traitor tomorrow so he gets immediately banished. Then recruit Leanne and push the 'perhaps she was recruited' so she gets banished on Friday.

The murders should be the most obviously faithful so Jake and Lisa. Then when it's almost final time recruit someone who is under less suspicion like Charlotte. Then try to end the game asap and share the pot with her.

Not sure if the producers would allow repetitive recruiting of people she could easily persuade others to banish though.

Doingmybest12 · 16/01/2025 02:42

Has anyone mentioned Francesca's comment about her footwear while running , was it 'inappropriate leopard print ,sling backs' as she bounded down to pull the boat in. Very funny and very odd choice to wear for a challenge. I dont understand the comments about the contestants being illogical about who us the traitor this time. Every series has been the same and that's the interesting thing for me, to watch human nature play out. Even when they know there are traitors ,if they like someone or build an alliance the suspicion is gone. It becomes largely a popularity contest in my eyes and that's why the emotions become amplified and they seem to forget the point of the game.

I'm sad Fozia went too, for similar reasons.
Oh I hope they don't banish Alexander just because he's posh! He can't help being posh. I say that as a very unposh Northern Irish girl (though I live in England now)
Inverted snobbery is such a British thing. I don't like snobbery of any kind. Nobody can help their background 🤷‍♀️

WindIsSwirlling · 16/01/2025 05:35

I hope Alexander isn’t banished tomorrow. He’s a good player and will make it more interesting. It’s a shame a Minah is sticking to the “sisterhood” thing as things having a male traitor would mix it up.

If I was Minah I’d ‘discover’ the painting now. Everyone saw the table and death game setting which is identical near enough to that picture so would explain why she was drawn to the picture. Then have someone else spot the names. Would be easy to assume Linda has written as a known traitor. That blows Anna’s drinks theory about the water and takes the heat off Minah.

Jack is going to be trusted and thought of as a faithful now but someone could plant the seed that he is an original traitor who framed Linda from the start. I know it didn’t happen but I could have been brilliant gameplay…. So he was picked as traitor and immediate implicated Linda for her head turn but at that time she was faithful which he knew. No one was fully behind banishing her in the earlier weeks. He played long game and recruited her at a later point when more were ready to name her so she’d look like a traitor all along and it paints his as an original faithful.

WatchOutMissMarpleIsAbout · 16/01/2025 05:51

I think I’m still Minah for the win but I really don’t mind Freddie, Anna & Alexander as well. Don’t want Joe & Leanne to win , not particularly bothered about the rest tbh. Charlotte is a good recruit I think.
