I say every year that this year will be the year that I quit love island - I'll probably be sat miserably on Monday in front of itv2 🙄😄

I still think Curtis seems a bit asexual and camp overall. I didn't watch series 2 so no idea who the bombshell is.

The Ronnie kiss situation was embarrassing for Elma and I can see why she was upset.

I can't get over Kaz saying she wasn't ok because her friend was upset, as if she wasn't instrumental to that. I don't see the attraction with Ronnie at all, and I could never get past him spraying on his fibre 'hair'

I was pleased when Ronnie picked Elma. I think thta Kaz thought she was always guaranteed to get him easily as she is objectively so much more beautiful than Elma.

She did behave in quite an unkind way though and it’s now backfired on her as she looks desperate and has now been publicly rejected by two islanders, and they have only been there for five minutes! Luca was polite but didn’t really pretend that he fancied here either.

Curtis is going with the Ekin Su flow as it establishes him in the centre but seems to be keeping her at arms length. I think they all will unless not very bright (Ronnie) as it's so clear she'll be trying to stage manage it to buggery.

India is quiet but beautiful and seems quite straightforward. Of course she's there for some exposure as a long term model but it's believable that she might also want love as well at 34. She seems a good bet to me and I think will be popular.

Scott marked his card for me by comparing her with Ekin Su (to ES) as 'comfortable' and less exciting when she isn't a dead cert for him at all.

I'm not getting the Curtis hotness.

I don't like to see anyone shunned totally but I was quite pleased to see Kaz and Ronnie cold shouldered a bit by the group after kissing straight after Elma when they've been friends for ages. In LI the etiquette is 'anything goes as long as we're not exclusive and people as re honest ' where as this seems more mature and reflective of real life and emotions and this set that tone. Hopefully Elma won't give too many chances.

There seems to be a lot Olivia is thinking but not saying.

I think ekin su will 'find her way' to Scott and that'll be the drama mid season, maybe before casa amor.

@HairyMavis no of course not. It is I think fairly obvious that the correlation between reality tv and suicide is far higher than that to do with other ways of being a celebrity and suicide. If I were to agree with that then we'd need to scrap all forms of being famous - sport, all actors, being an MP/politics, authors. What a dull existence that would be.

If I remember correctly Tina picked Scott for a date back in that series and Kady kicked off and called her a made in Chelsea reject basic bitch or something along those lines. She looks totally different now with all the work she's had but still gorgeous, and has actually been on MIC now! Think she had a thing with Casey recently. Absolutely don't see the appeal of him either.

Luca seems to have a weird vibe about him this time round- sort of like he's checked out and doesn't want to be there. I think he said he's more cautious now but he seems very reserved and stand offish. Said he's attracted to new girl but when he walked up for the date it was like he was doing her a favour!

I think Ronnie actively creates false intimacy and pretends each girl is the only one he's interested in. Others pay lip service to keeping things open.

It was shitty how he made a point of underlining to Kaz that he had no regrets. Not in an 'no hard feelings' way but in a loaded way. I liked him in the other series when it was a free for all but he seems to have either lied or evaded the truth a coupled of times here.

Scott is a bit of a lame duck. It sounded like India had had enough. Tina would do better with Nas.

i think Naz is the best of the bunch here in terms of personality and integrity.

I like India, Elma and Catherine, they seem fairly normal.

Not sure about Kaz or Ekin Su. Olivia shouldn't be on. I think she's far too insecure for this type of programme, she came over really badly last time and I think that will happen again.
