For me there a few, but one is an episode of The Sandman called The Sound of Her Wings. I can give or take the rest of the series, but enjoy rewatching that particular episode.

Yes to the Buffy one! I've got the DVD of just that episode!

Teenagerantruns · 08/01/2025 22:03

Love the last episode of big bang theory.

Michellesbackbrace · 08/01/2025 22:03

All of the Miss Marple episodes - but especially “The Sittaford Mystery”. It has such a fantastic cast, is funny and suspenseful in equal measure and it’s set in the snowy wintertime in Devon with lots of hiking through the snow/guests trapped in a hotel on the Moors. It makes me feel all cosy being nice and warm indoors watching it!

BESTAUNTB · 08/01/2025 22:04

The Christmas episodes of Frasier.
Lots of Gavin and Staceys.
The hospital train episode of Upstairs Downstairs

Michellesbackbrace · 08/01/2025 22:04

I always watch the Royle Family Christmas specials at Christmas too.

Danikm151 · 08/01/2025 22:04

Any episode of Gilmore Girls.
All of series 1 of Supernatural

StMarie4me · 08/01/2025 22:06

The Christmas Episode of Benidorm where Mel has died. Steve Pemberton's acting is incredible. The writing and directing is also off the scale.

Inside number 9- the 12 days of Christine.

Black Mirror- San Junipero.

Beautiful TV.

HEC2746 · 08/01/2025 22:10

The Spinners and Losers episode of The Thick of It, with Malcolm scheming to get in Tom’s good books, loads of feral Jamie, Blinky Ben, and of course, Glenn’s I Am A Man rant. Greatest hour of comedy ever put together.

sellingupslow · 08/01/2025 22:11

Schitts Creek 🤓

RichPetunia · 08/01/2025 22:12

Totally agree with any episode of Gavin and Stacey.

junerella · 08/01/2025 22:12

Outlander: The Wedding (I don't even like weddings).

Fatloss · 08/01/2025 22:13

Blackadder 2 Money - with the baby eating bishop of Bath and wells.

DrMadelineMaxwell · 08/01/2025 22:14

Yes to Once More With Feeling - and I got the soundtrack CD back when I had a CD player in the car!
Also Hush. I love that one too.

Also a few episodes of Doctor Who, including Blink in that list.

Also The 12 Days of Christine, Inside No.9
and from the that series: Diddle Diddle Dumpling and A Quiet Night In. Genius.
A Christmassy Ted, with Ireland’s biggest lingerie section.

EllieQ · 08/01/2025 22:17

The X Files pilot episode, Ice, and Pusher.

Stargate ‘1969’

Buffy ‘The Wish’ and ‘Doppelgängland.

Star Trek: TNG ‘Yesterday’s Enterprise’

Struggling to think of anything that wasn’t in the 90s 😀

hexsnidgett · 08/01/2025 22:17

Kicking Bishop Brenner up the arse!

I am surprised someone said the final Big Bang- I sometimes skip this, as it's so awful, everyone acting so out of character, so disappointing.

TheCrenchinglyMcQuaffenBrothers · 08/01/2025 22:17

Agree with Blink - also genius

zaxxon · 08/01/2025 22:18

@StMarie4me Inside number 9- the 12 days of Christine.

I love this but I could never watch it again - it's too sad 😢 But there are lots of Inside No 9s I could watch over and over, especially Bernie Clifton's Dressing Room.

Also the episode of Brooklyn Nine Nine where Jake and Amy finally get together 🥰

MooseBeTimeForSnow · 08/01/2025 22:19

Orion in the Sky
Exodus
Be Still me Heart
All in the Family
Hell and High Water
Love’s Labor Lost

ER 😍

Waitingfordoggo · 08/01/2025 22:20

The episode of Extras where Andy is in the Big Brother house and gives his big speech.

Yes, if you watch it with a cynical eye, you see Gervais being pleased with himself cause he thinks he’s the cleverest person, but I can’t help but like it. I love Ashley Jensen as Maggie and her reaction to his speech is so touching

MooseBeTimeForSnow · 08/01/2025 22:20

And most of The West Wing

Hohofortherobbers · 08/01/2025 22:21

Just rewatched the curry episode of gavin and stacey. Soo good. Pete I see you eying up my bhunas!

Examconfusion · 08/01/2025 22:24

Most of the west wing, and also pretty much every episode of Motherland. Two very different shows!

Latenightreader · 08/01/2025 22:28

The West Wing - so many but particularly Shibbolith, And It's Surely to their Credit and Noel.

Star Trek TNG Best of Both Worlds

X-Files Squeeze/Tooms, Ice

Tenko- pretty much any but particularly the later s3 when they are trying to adjust to freedom

Frasier - the one from the final series where he's driving with his girlfriend and they end up staying in a random house with a coffin in the sitting room. Also the one with Patrick Stewart as the theatre director who Frasier accidentally dates. And so many others.
