For me there a few, but one is an episode of The Sandman called The Sound of Her Wings. I can give or take the rest of the series, but enjoy rewatching that particular episode.

The Spinners and Losers episode of The Thick of It, with Malcolm scheming to get in Tom’s good books, loads of feral Jamie, Blinky Ben, and of course, Glenn’s I Am A Man rant. Greatest hour of comedy ever put together.

Yes! As a political nerd, it's my favourite series and that episode is a comedy triumph!

I also love the episode of Fools & Horses with the blow-up dolls and the one called "The Jolly Boys Outing"

Other top episodes include Connor's wedding in Succession and the one in The West Wing where Bartlett shouts at his god in a church.

Stella
Happy Valley
Pride and Prejudice
Victoria Wood Audience shows - I have lost count of the amount of times I have watched ‘The Ballard of Barry and Freda 😂’

CatherineCawoodsbestie · 12/01/2025 13:22

Oh and bizarrely - The Loves and Lies of the She Devil.

GoldThumb · 12/01/2025 13:26

Lots of the black mirror episodes.
USS Callister, Nosedive, 15 Million merits, White Christmas, Black museum, San Junipero, Beyond the Sea.

And probably a few others, definitely my favourite show.

GoldThumb · 12/01/2025 13:27

Also the first few seasons of Game of Thrones. Up until about number 4

jimloop · 12/01/2025 13:45

Motherland when Meg first comes into it, so funny, lost count of how many times I’ve watched it

BobnLen · 12/01/2025 16:16

The Mentalist, last episode
A Place to Call Home, last episode
Six Feet Under, last episode
The Americans, last episode

All of the above had a good end.

Though I have recently watched the whole lot of A Place to Call Home again

woodymumoftwo · 12/01/2025 16:31

The split. Motherland too👍🏼

LaLaLaLaLolaaa · 12/01/2025 16:44

Jolly Boys' Outing - Only Fools and Horses ❤️

Pieceofpurplesky · 12/01/2025 17:02

Quantum Leap where Sam jumps in to the body of the young boy with Down's syndrome.

The Last Kingdom where Erik is killed. To be fair any of the series.

Also the episode in Sex and the City where Harry finds a proposes to Charlotte. I was watching on a tiny hospital TV, wired and cathetered up after a traumatic labour. Tiny 6 week early DS was in an incubator somewhere, exh (was h at the time) had left and had gone out drinking. I watched this and sobbed for hours!!

Giggorata · 12/01/2025 18:17

Yes to Buffy's Hush and Once More with Feeling.
The episode of the Detectorists where they find the hawking whistle and then the historical sequence with the Unthanks' magpie song.
Most of Lexx but certainly the first and last episodes (NB do NOT watch the last episode unless you want enormous spoilers)
Yes to Spinners and Losers, but most of the Thick of It is brilliant.
As is the Day Today, possibly the Cake and Paedophile episodes.
The Malcom in the Middle episode where the boys avenged Lois at Hal's family's garden party.
The episode of Jaam with the man who decided to live outdoors - and the Mr Lizard one.

CurlewKate · 12/01/2025 18:50

All of Blackadder. All of In The Thick of it.

And another one I'm too ashamed to admit to....

Tigresswoods · 12/01/2025 20:44

I know Fawlty Towers inside out & back to front.

wastingtimeonhere · 12/01/2025 21:10

Randall and Hopkirk Deceased
The Persuaders
Early episodes of New tricks
Cobra kai -1-3
Call the midwife first couple of series
Darling Buds of May..

Crikeyalmighty · 12/01/2025 22:07

At totally opposite ends of the spectrum I could repeat back word for word every episode of sex in the city and one foot in the grave

kiraric · 12/01/2025 22:12

Frasier - Flour Child, the episode where Niles is trying to decide if he wants children and carries a bag of flour around with him for a week to work it out. "A real child would have cried before it burst into flame"

Buffy - most of it TBH but in particular I am a sucker for The Prom and Buffy getting the class protector award

Lyannaa · 12/01/2025 22:13

Cheeseagain · 12/01/2025 22:16
