For me there a few, but one is an episode of The Sandman called The Sound of Her Wings. I can give or take the rest of the series, but enjoy rewatching that particular episode.

White Caps and Pine Barrens - Sopranos

paulhollywoodshairgel · 09/01/2025 16:27

Outlander- the one where Jamie and Claire get married. Also the one where Claire returns to Jamie after 20 years.

First episode of the walking dead!

BorgQueen · 09/01/2025 16:43

Timeless - ‘Party at Castle Valar’ and ‘Chinatown’ - so many fantastic, clever episodes but those two stand out for me.

Soonenough · 09/01/2025 16:44

Episode in Sopranos where Paulie and Christopher are chasing a guy in the snow .

Car Share with the Mr Hotstopper song

Currently watching call the midwife, I can see that joining the 'comfort zone' list

PuppyMonkey · 09/01/2025 16:54

Any episode of the original series of Frasier.

any Four in a Bed. Grin

Eraclea · 09/01/2025 16:54

Peep Show - the end of JLB Credit. Johnson’s speech in the car park is superb.

I’m Alan Partridge - Dante’s Fire's.

IT Crowd - theatre trip.

Stella Street - Joe Pesci wanting to play the Duke of Devonshire. Also, Dirk Bogarde leaving the street.

The early series of New Tricks with Brian.

It goes round on a continuous loop on Drama but I can always watch and enjoy them.

Watching it as I type. One of my favourite TV characters of all time.

PeggyMitchellsCameo · 09/01/2025 17:31

Any episodes of - Gilmore Girls, Last Tango in Halifax, The Royle Family, Ashes to Ashes, Judge John Deed and Line of Duty.

First episode of The Sopranos.

Last two episodes of Sex and the City - where it should have ended.

New Tricks - the one where Brian goes into rehab.

Porridge - the one where Fletch and Godber have a night in.

MASH - the final episode

True Detective season 1 - the first and best

Slow Horses series 1 - 3

And finally, the show I can watch on a loop, know every word of and never tire of - Dallas. Yes it’s ancient, and naff, but JR Ewing is my absolute hero, non-PC, and Swellin is an absolute icon.

Gliblet · 09/01/2025 17:36

Buffy - Hush
Bones - any of the Epps episodes
Marple - Murder at the Vicarage
Poirot - Evil Under the Sun

Schitts Creek 🤓

Me too

Beautifulweeds · 09/01/2025 17:41

Only fools and horses.

dothedanceofjoy · 09/01/2025 17:51

Buffy - Hush, it's just so good. I watched it last night, as it happens. The dialogue-free scene in the auditorium with Giles's drawings explaining what's going on, OMG 😂People complain about season 4, but it has some of the best standalone episodes. I love Something Blue too.

Any episode of the first 3 seasons on Community, but especially Remedial Chaos Theory and Advanced Dungeons and Dragons.

The episode of Frasier with the radio play, Frasier taking it so seriously and Niles doing all the accents 😁. Also the one with the dead seal. And the one where they take a class in auto repair and become the bad kids at the back of the class passing notes in French.

FastandLoose · 09/01/2025 17:59

Most of Miranda
The whole of the Detectorists as a periodic rewatch
Most of Frasier before Niles and Daphne got together and the disastrous ‘English’ accents came out. Frasier being pranked by Carlos and the chicken is probably my favourite.

Ladyof2025 · 09/01/2025 18:04

Any episode from extras, but if I have to choose one it would be the one with the nuns in which a very famous actress teaches tips on phone sex.

Eukanuba · 09/01/2025 18:06

HEC2746 · 08/01/2025 22:10

The Spinners and Losers episode of The Thick of It, with Malcolm scheming to get in Tom’s good books, loads of feral Jamie, Blinky Ben, and of course, Glenn’s I Am A Man rant. Greatest hour of comedy ever put together.

Came here to say this 😁

Middlemarch123 · 09/01/2025 18:07

Peaky Blinders

Ladyof2025 · 09/01/2025 18:08

I also really love the very first episode of Breaking Bad. I could literally watch it over and over and over again and never get bored.

Letsnotargue · 09/01/2025 18:29

The Doctor Who episode with Catherine Tate as Doctor Donna. I don’t usually like DW, but her character is perfect in this episode and I could watch it forever.

Yep. This and the inquiry episode are my common go to’s.

Jamie was such a brilliantly intense character, perfectly played (are you a horse?). But the actor seems to have been weirdly typecast into roles which are the complete opposite since - Line of Duty, Slow Horses mainly spring to mind. Wimpy, pathetic, nervous blokes. Bring back Jamie!

MrsKeats · 10/01/2025 15:07
