I got the impression stephen wanted to go home from the start of this episode, and there was a bit of self sabotage involved, perhaps he was tired of waiting for the sword to fall.

Diana was my favourite but they were all fab - apart from poor, lovely Stephen’s. I’m relieved for him he went, he was struggling so much.

I get the impression Stephen takes loads more time over his pieces than this format allows. He must have reached a certain standard to be chosen and I’m sure his own stuff is lovely.

I totally agree. I always say I'd do Bake Off if you got unlimited time for each bake.
