I can kind of see why Charlotte has done what she has, although how she can keep up with the fake accent Lord only knows.
People do make assumptions based on accents and when she speaks in her real accent she sounds posh. People then think a posh accent means intelligent. Intelligent guarantees you are a target to be both murdered and banished. Just look at Kas Shiiman 🤣.

Hmmm, Alexander is also posh, what are the chances? And they’re both from London, thus proving that my theory is 100% correct

He knows he's nowhere near being Top dog himself. Too much of a hanger on imo.

I'm a bit late to the party. When is it on because some are on bbc3 and some on bbc1. I've seen the one with the traitor being banished so episode 3 next?

There have been 3 episodes. New one on Wednesday.

Roll on Wednesday, I almost cracked and started watching NZ traitors tonight, but I think I’ll get confused with two series at once so I’m trying to save that for when this one’s finished. I don’t like the 3 eps a week format for such an obviously bingeable show though.

It’s been DD’s first Traitors series and she’s demanded we listen to podcasts and also start series 1 to fill this eternal gap. Interesting to see her like this as she’s so used to everything being right there on demand.

Yep. We’ve also listened to the Traidar and the Shrine podcasts. We just watched the Uncloaked stuff. We are hoovering up the content!

I listen (for a while) to another last year but I really couldn't get on with the podcasters. Might have be Traidar, as I think it was two people and Shine is three isn't it?

Traidar is one guy with a co-host every time. Although he often has the same co-host, an American guy.

Yes, although they also raise the 'last into breakfast' point! I can see that they are able to film lots of different groups/edit the entrances into different sequences, but are they also filming lots of versions of people saying 'what, I'm last in?'? Because that's the only way you maintain the mystery at this point.

Yes that bit seems harder to fake than just mixing up the other orders of showing who comes in when.

I had noticed this too. They do actually show the last ins filing in to sit down with everyone else already there. So, it's a mystery how they maintain the mystery . Perhaps they should ditch the "last in to breakfast" trope for the viewers - it's getting a bit tired now anyway.

On the subject of podcasts, I listened to one last year on Alexa - the one she gave you if you asked for "the Traitors podcast" - but never found out who actually presented it. The show played the theme tune in its entirety (about 2 minutes long!) and had a single, male host - but despite googling etc. I was never able to find out who it was. Any ideas? Later it occurred to me that I could have asked Alexa directly who was presenting the show, but it's too late now as it's not there this year.

Like pp, I usually fast forward the breakfast bit. The mostly fake hugs are too cloying.

I just caught up with the 3 episodes yesterday.
Got to be honest, I'm not enjoying it nearly as much as last year's offering. Last year was a masterpiece. Better than the year before, which I also binged last year before catching up with series 2 to be in sync with the nation. But, it's early days, so I'll stick with it. So far, series 2 best, series 1 second, and series 3 a bit rubbish. But, obviously many on this thread disagree, and that's fine. Personal taste. I'll report back on Wednesday!

Just turned Traidar on to check - no wasn't him!! Unless the American guy isn't nice? (One i watched he was with a Scottish woman.)

I'll give the next one a try. Still prefer Faithful to the Traitors. They just seem like nice people!!

The Traitors soundtrack (with all the moody cover versions) for the first 3 episodes has been dropped on BBC Sounds - 18 tracks.

No, the American guy is quite a sweetie in general, although lives his life online a bit too much I think judging by how he talks about his Instagram comments!

Just re-watching Ep3 although I'm supposed to be working and Armani's misguided confidence in how she's owning Traitorhood is very funny, especially during the breakfast (which I also normally skip).
She was just so sure of herself going undetected she was giving having a go at Minah and Linda for "not doing enough". 😆
