I am a friend of a person whose friend is on the show so I have just discovered a spoiler! It's not much of one but I won't reveal it. Welcome development though.

I think much as we all feel we might do better, it's hard to be natural and pleasant on the show. So many of the contestants come off so much better on Uncloaked, when not under the microscope. Hence Linda's bloopers, Kas' outburst, Elen's crying.

A close relative of mine was best mates with one of last year's contestants so that was fun - let's say the relative knew more than they should have!

I think it’s absolutely fair enough to go on the Traitors wanting to play the game as a Faithful. I think I’d have the best chance of winning as a recruited Traitor so would ask not to be a Traitor at the start.

I thought the Shipman comment came from a genuine place of anger at the nonsense reasoning. I really felt for Kas.

And I thought Tyler was way too harsh on Maia crying at the end. I know it’s been a short time but it’s a totally immersive experience and feelings will be really intense, especially after filming the round table for hours. And it’s her sister. I’ve been on intense residential training courses where you end up ridiculously over-thinking your feelings and I can imagine how pressured it must all feel.

That said, all the ‘I love yous’ are annoying and for a priest of all people to claim that someone they’ve known for three days leaving would ‘literally’ be like losing a child is quite offensive.

My minor irritation with the production is that Maia’s hair in her diary room pieces is often totally different to her hair on the day. Which is making me wonder when on earth they are filming those segments. It’s a total continuity issue and makes me think they filmed all the to-camera bits in one session.

I think there a lot of young male aggression in there and I was struck by the earlier comment that they are subliminally picking up on the lack of a male traitor. I do hope Alexander comes back as I think he could be a moderating presence although I’m also hoping to get more of a sense of Leon as I noticed both Elin and Keith had pegged him as a Traitor.

I agree with you about the young male aggression, and maybe they are feeling rather frustrated because A - they are a Faithful and can't therefore be Mr Alpha, and B - sensing the absence of a genuine Mr Alpha Traitor so there's lot of jockeying for position but none of them can be top dog. If that makes sense. It could also be a subconscious reason why the Traitors murdered Keith, who would otherwise have been Mr Alpha purely on seniority.

Yes, agree with this.

There are also a few who seem quite similar (superficially at least) in age and appearance - Jake, Joe, Dan - and there isn’t an obvious leader or top dog among them. Certainly no one who seemed to be as vocal as Armani (though that’s probably a good thing).

I would like to see more of Alex and Leon.

I think there's one or two who would normally expect to be the Alpha but feel somewhat emasculated right now because they are not a Traitor.

I think Linda is Minah's MIL. In the bio Minah talks about watching traitors with her MIL. Linda's comment about DIL having that coffee machine was unnecessary, so why was it kept in? And also Linda is a terrible traitor, so I think they're doing it for the reveal of them being related - I think they will reveal it when Minah turns on her!

Just my working theory (because I'm desperately hoping there's a shocking reveal mid series Dianne/Ross style)

Big Brother was quite good at this in its early days.

She’s on insta, this is her husband. Their SM has no pics of family that I could see at first glance. Her husband mentions he has a brother… meaning if @Rainingharder is right, Linda has two sons (maybe more).

Here is a picture of them together, hard to say if there is a likeness but it’s a GREAT theory!

From what I can see Linda’s insta is private @ thelindarands and her music is under that name, she lived in the Netherlands for 34 years, so not sure all that tallies up with Minah’s husband Liam Shannon but not impossible.

The concept is totally different! The group will punish it if it starts coming across as Traitor-like, or as undesirable to Traitors.

I’ve been pondering Charlotte’s apparently completely irrational decision to use a fake Welsh accent in the show. Could it be that what she’s told us is completely untrue (because it makes no sense at all) and the REAL reason for the accent is to hide the fact that she’s related to one of the other contestants?

Then it might make sense that we (the viewers) have not yet been told this fact because her relative isn’t currently in the show, i.e. it’s one of the Train 3? So, I reckon that Alexander is Charlotte’s brother and we’ll find this out somehow once he comes back!

I think given the chance Tyler could try and be an Alfa male and so too could Joe and Jake. Not sure about Leon and Freddie as we haven’t seen enough of them.
I’m glad it’s been 3 female traitors so far as last year they only ever recruited other men. Even Claudia called them out on it,
I also agree with the poster upthread who said there is an unconscious bias against older people.
Thats why I think people like Leanne and Freddie will do well. They are young, attractive and come across as not over intelligent.

Yeah, Tyler's the one who wants to be the Big Cheese I reckon, and he is seriously put out that he isn't - particularly since he can't work out who he needs to dominate in order to get there.
