The Traitors - ep 2 *spoilers*

A thread to discuss ep 2 ahead of tomorrow night.

I liked Elen, and didn’t much like the playground-style pile-on which led to her banishment. She had good instincts for who the Traitors were, and the so-called evidence against her was daft. If they’d learned anything from previous series they’d be prepared to apply some critical reasoning when someone is nominated for spurious reasons, but I fear that anyone (like perhaps Dan) who leans that way will be toast before too long.

If they learned anything from previous seasons, it's that you should befriend a Traitor and be really convincing that you trust them.

I don't understand why they bother to try to find traitors at the start at all.

If you think someone is probably a traitor, you are better off to leave them in, because if you are right they will just get replaced and you'll have to start guessing all over again

Use the first few round tables to get rid of people who are annoying or poor at tasks.

Ooh the ones who got at the train are coming back!

Yes I knew the ones on the train would be back it seems very harsh to not even let them start the game! What do we think 2 of them will be faithful and one traitor maybe?

I think so, I think the giant one will be a traitor, for some reason

I would love it if the Traitors had to decide whether to swap existing players for the rail replacement three

Armanis sister could be a good shout, because they wouldn't think both sisters could be traitors but not sure she's strong enough.

I'm guessing Armani's sister got murdered tonight.

I don't understand why her sister didn't stand up for her even if she suspected her of being a traitor? Did she forget how much money Armani could win

Actually I would like to see two of them as traitors because I think Linda's days are numbered and it would stop the cycle of original traitors recruiting and then immediately throwing the new one under the bus before they have a chance

Maia was rolling her eyes at Armani and everything! I thought it was a really strange thing to do- throw your sister under the bus... Weird.

@Hungrycaterpillarsmummy if she was my sister I'd totally throw her under the bus. Imagine growing up with a sister like that!!

Armani I think has been the worst traitor ever. Hasn't she ever watched the show?
I will be glad when the three exiles return. We desperately need some non- influencer, non-young people in this show.

Yes, Kasim lost it, but I would be annoyed too at that comment by Jake and Joe's ' hes so sneaky" comments.
Really, Kasim should have pretended to be a hairdresser.
People are threatened by intelligence and good looks in one package.

Yes I think its crucial not to appear too clever, too opinionated or to stick out too much. The Priest is so far playing a blinder.

The priest may come under suspicion for being too old to have shot filler into her lips, not weeping all day and therefore standing out.

Is it just me who thinks that Armani and a few others have only entered this game as a way of becoming a 'famous for being famous' influencer in future?
