I am sad Keith was murdered. He's coming across very well on Traitors Uncloaked.
This series is skewing too young and influenza like for me. Too many women with filler, not enough old wrinkly people and seems like they will be voted out soon.

I agree! It seems like anyone who isn’t a young, love island type is being either murdered or banished. It’s a shame that some of the characters are going - I didn’t warm to Nathan but he seemed to think differently to the others during the train task and suggesting that no one gets off because what will the producers do?!

I presume the three traitors go to bed a lot later than the others due to their meeting, so why hasn’t anyone picked up on who could more tired.

I read that they are all taken to separate hotels at the same time. They don't sleep in the castle. Then the traitors are brought back separately.

Cherrytreat · 02/01/2025 22:30

It's the first time I've seen it.
I don't know if I'm getting old and cynical, but all the squealing and crying, professing love for each other 24hrs in, wtf?

Francesca seems quite under the radar, I've hardly heard her speak. I think I'd be like her, quietly observing everyone, taking it all in and not telling everyone I love them after one day. I wonder if she'll come out of her shell.

They all stay in a hotel in Inverness I believe, with lots of security on the different floors. The hotel is a travel lodge type job and they book out the whole thing. This we found out last year.

Personally I don’t think the tower is in the castle. It looks like a set to me. I think the set is in a warehouse or even the conference room of the hotel. That way they aren’t travelling for a long time to go back to the hotel. The scenes of them in cloaks walking around at night are crew who are the same build.

I also think that there are two diary rooms which are identical. One at the castle and one at the hotel.

Cherrytreat · 02/01/2025 22:31

And yes, Minah is a great traitor. Armani is driving me mad, how did they not react when she told the other traitors to be more assertive, my jaw would have dropped to the floor!

Rictasmorticia · 02/01/2025 22:33

I am finding this series so disappointing. I think one reason is the poor quality of the three Traitors. The rest are so bland

TheUsualChaos · 02/01/2025 22:35

They both went pretty quiet when Armani said they weren't doing well enough which I think spoke volumes 😆

I think they went with Armani because they know she is gobby confident, and the other two because they know they will just be quiet.

As an old fart I have a question. All the younger women seem to have lip filler and false eyelashes. Honestly, is it meant to look fake, like having pink hair or painted nails, you know it’s not real but you like how it looks?

Yes, didn't they! I thought Minah was going to pop with indignation 💢
And she's right, Armani won't last much longer - she's so obvious to me!

Don’t forgot though it could be how it’s edited.

APushbikeNamedReluctance · 02/01/2025 22:41

I don't think it's bland. I'm just very glad there's no one jumping around grabbing their head and screaming everytime someone looks at them crooked. (Still can't figure out why viewers liked Wilf and contestants didn't think he was unstable!!)

TheUsualChaos · 02/01/2025 22:41

Very true re editing 😆 I predict a secret traitor chat minus one tomorrow 🤣 if they play it right they could make a traitor sacrifice work in their favour.

JewelleryCat · 02/01/2025 22:43

I know we’ve only just finished episode 2 but there hasn’t been anyone likeable yet to me. What about you guys?

Pumpkincozynights · 02/01/2025 22:45

I agree about too many influencer types.
This proves that people think they can tell when someone is lying when in actual fact, they have been wrong every time.
If I were a traitor I would murder Army Barbie, then shower guy ( can’t remember his name.) Reason being, the men will not vote out young, pretty women. Being young and attractive (and white) is an advantage. It is a subconscious stereotype. So far nobody has voted for either of these 2 so I would be thinking there is very little chance of them being voted off, so they have to be murdered.
I’d then get rid of Leo? The quiet guy wears a checked shirt, who’s name has yet to be thrown in the ring.
I’d have to leave Jake for now, due to him naming Linda.
I know Ellen was young and pretty but not in the same way as Army Barbie, plus her name was thrown in the ring.
I’d also want one of the sisters out as I would be thinking they are never going to vote each other out.
One of the previous contestants did say it is very fast paced when you are sitting around the round table. Things move very rapidly and all of a sudden your babe is mentioned and all you can do is fight for survival. There isn’t time to start rationally discussing your thoughts about who might be a traitor, all you can do is try and defend yourself.
One year Arron was crying at the round table and he was not a traitor, yet people assume it’s a sign of guilt. Just goes to show his bad humans are at reading real guilt. Some people convince themselves that their lies are the truth.
It is a fascinating insite into human nature.

Wilf was an arse. And his acting skills were about as good as Linda's 😁

TheDowagerCountessofPembroke · 02/01/2025 22:48

I don’t think crying is a sign of guilt at all. It’s very tense in there, I’d be in tears all the time. In fairness as a menopausal woman I seem to be in tears most days.

Pumpkincozynights · 02/01/2025 22:49

Jewellerycat I think Francesca might be very likeable, I love her outfits. I also think Linda would be a scream. Charlotte might be ok too. I did like the 3 who left the train, especially mullet guy.
I quite like the other sister, but maybe I’m just comparing her to her awful sister!

Surelythistime · 02/01/2025 22:51

Elen is so beautiful

Pumpkincozynights · 02/01/2025 22:53

We were also laughing at the be beautician/model when she was crying over Elen being voted out. Well you voted for her love.

BliainNua · 02/01/2025 23:01

I liked Elen and was sorry to see her go, same with Keith.
Out of those left....... Anna ('cos she's Irish 😉) and I think Dan (still getting to know their names).

Littleguggi · 02/01/2025 23:03

So far I really like Minah as a traitor, she's great! Not really warmed to any of the faithfulls apart from Kaz and maybe the barber guy. Can't stand Armani, really hope Minah and Linda throw her under the bus.

CaveMum · 02/01/2025 23:12

Armani is going to be the new Paul. Too cocky and feeling invincible, Minah and Linda (if she hangs on in there!) will cut her loose as soon as they can.

PlanetJungle · 02/01/2025 23:13

I think Armani told the other two to be more assertive because she’s been too gobby and she needs the heat taken off her. I’m glad Ellen went - too moany, she played the victim card. It’s hard to read people in an environment like this - everything’s new, cameras stress etc make people act out of character. Nerves can easily be misinterpreted as guilt.

latetothefisting · 02/01/2025 23:21

in the first eviction, did Keith spell Nathan "Nather"? Together with that and his comment that Yin was clearly very intelligent "because she was reading the BOOKS IN THE LIBRARY" (said in a flabbergasted manner), I don't think he was the brightest tool in the shed. Probably would have been a good one to leave in for a while.

Agree so much about the excess of crying and screaming. And the hugging and walking arm in arm and declaring how much you love each other 🤮
YOU'VE ONLY KNOWN ONE ANOTHER 48HRS!
I'd be voted out as a traitor for being too unemotional. Blonde Army woman's reaction when Linda started hugging and kissing her at the end would pretty much be mine all the way through.

I'm wondering whether there's more to Charlotte's fake Welsh accent. It just seems like such a bizarre thing to do, and so risky if there is another welsh person in the house. Surprised Elen didn't query it more - I'm actually Welsh and her accent itself isn't too bad, dropping in and out slightly - but when she said she could only count to 5 - at her age it would have been compulsory to take it to GCSE, so pretty much anyone, fluent or not, should be able to count to at least 10 and say a few basic phrases - my 3 year old niece doesn't go to a welsh language school but knows that! The only thing I can think of atm is that she is related to one of the others but wants to throw them off the scent?

ViolinsPlayGentlyOn · 02/01/2025 23:29

Yes, I was wondering whether that would have been a giveaway to Elen. I would have thought most of people who did any language for GCSE would remember a few basics even if the grammar was slightly sketchier than it should be.
