The most gripping reality game show is back! Tune in to BBC1 at 8pm on New Year's Day.

I'm buzzing!

In every series the last two people into breakfast are the ones the traitors were considering, in order to build the suspense for the viewers. But nobody ever seems to mention this! So given they’ll all have watched the last two series why aren’t they saying that it can’t be the doctor or Nathan who are traitors as they were last in?

Oh I’m so glad Yin went! I’ve worked with a few too many like her, and they get tiring very quickly. She takes herself far too seriously.
Linda shot herself in the foot at the round table and I think she will be voted off.
Armani needs to calm down. She’s coming across as desperate and far too much of a personality, they never last long.
Minah is playing it well. In fact if the others get outed quickly she might do well, finding some smarter players to recruit.
I never really understand some of the lies that get told, the Welsh accent one is bonkers, but ok.
I would love to go on this, but I go bright red if I have to speak in front of others and it would not make good telly. I could do slightly dumb middle aged mum well though.

I just want to see the Welsh faker go all 'Lahndahn' when she's dangling upside down from something.

Yes, I was saying this to DH when we were watching. Surely it’s really obvious? Maybe someone IS thinking along these lines and keeping track, but not saying anything because it clearly doesn’t do to appear too clever!

I was so glad they got rid of Yin. Armani is way over the top - if her sister doesn’t suss her, the fact that she won’t get murdered will be her downfall, surely. I’m enjoying Minah’s face when the other two keep messing it up, she’s clearly cringing inside!

Oh it's so heavily edited. They don't come into breakfast room in the order it's shown on tv, so the last reaction we see wasn't actually to the last group of people coming in iyswim. I remember one of the people from a previous series saying that the breakfast filming takes forever 😆

I don't think Yin is nearly as clever as she made out. Anyone with half a brain would just keep quiet and keep their head down, not keep banging on about how brilliant they are at sussing people out.

Yin was the obvious choice for first murder. Not sure why she wasn't smarter and played down how intelligent she was but I get the feeling she can't help herself!

I feel Yin has some neurodivergent traits.

How does recruiting new traitors work?

What I don’t get is why the traitors kill off the clever/ louder people so early on. I get that they don’t want anyone with influence staying in long - but at this stage the faithfuls don’t have much to go off (apart from Jake it seems!) so if I was a traitor I would keep the clever/ louder people people in to create chaos and for me to fly under the radar. If there’s 22 in the game then the odds are in your favour at the round table if you’ve laid low anyway.
Armani needs to reign it in - Christ if I was a faithful I would be getting rid of her even if I thought she was a faithful as she’s just going round chatting shit based on no evidence so she’s actually a hindrance to the faithfuls.

Did anyone else think Armami was trying to throw Linda under the bus at the round table when she mentioned about an 'older' person potentially being a traitor? She then referred to the other older lady but I thought that was bold if not stupid!

I love this show, but the bit at breakfast when they come in the door makes me cringe! Had hoped they wouldn’t do it like that this series😣

Yes they just film and refilm the breakfast scenes surely because otherwise it’s just too big a clue to leave in?
