So many women pregnant, is there something in the water?
Wonder if they'll have a son or a daughter?
Joel's story lingers on, that's really too bad.
And now we have to put up with his mum and his dad.

Lauren's gonna do time, I wonder how long.
I guess she deserves it as she has done wrong.
Gail's gonna leave soon, after 50 whole years.
It'll be such a shame, there will many tears!

Bethany's putting on a brave face, though she's had a tough ride.
Daniel's still boring, and Kit's always snide.
Daisy's always got a snooty little pout.
And looks like she might just knock someone out..

Toyah and Nick have been secretly smooching.
Leanne knows all about it though, as she's always mooching.
Debbie's so funny, and Eileen's so droll
And Roy, a real favourite, is one of the best characters of all

Carla and Swain are getting quite close.
Not such a secret now, and nearly everyone knows.
Mason the baddie has gone quite good.
And Betsy always acts like she's Queen of the Hood!

Not much more to review for now.
But it's happy new year to us all.
I wonder how the Corrie cast will celebrate?
I bet they will have a ball. Grin

Happy new year everyone. Have a cracking 2025! 😄

So all that stuff with Betsy, lunch with Tim and Sally, he dreamt it?

missod · 06/01/2025 20:28

I've no clue what's going on, just why?

TellingBone · 06/01/2025 20:29

All this fannying about adds nothing to the story

JewelleryCat · 06/01/2025 20:29

Poor Mason, dreaming of a better life and making amends while he was lying there stabbed

Cottonheadedninhymuggins · 06/01/2025 20:34

Awww god, this is upsetting. He’s acting this brilliantly well.

PrincessScarlett · 06/01/2025 20:35

This is actually really good. Mason is brilliant and I like the way he was dreaming of a better life whilst lying on the ground.

JewelleryCat · 06/01/2025 20:39

Poor Abi, first Seb now finding Mason

Dontcallmescarface · 06/01/2025 20:42

"I want my mum"..that's made me leaky eyed.

Edited

Mee too 😥

TossieFleacake · 06/01/2025 20:47

This is really upsetting.
Poor Abi

suburburban · 06/01/2025 20:48

It's horrendous

And those brothers

JewelleryCat · 06/01/2025 20:49

This is heartbreaking

PrincessScarlett · 06/01/2025 20:50

This is so sad. What a mess with Dylan bringing the knife 😥

LotoC · 06/01/2025 20:52

Actually this is really well acted. Beautifully done. Extremely sad

Tortiemiaw · 06/01/2025 20:56

I'm just baffled how Asha is a fully trained and qualified paramedic. It took my dil 3 years of a degree plus time as a trainee in her first job!

JewelleryCat · 06/01/2025 20:57

Tim’s monologue just then reminded me of Gail when Aidan committed suicide

Thewalrusandthecarpenter · 06/01/2025 20:57

Can I join to say that episode has slightly restored my faith in Coronation Street writers. Really moving and well acted.

Cottonheadedninhymuggins · 06/01/2025 20:58

What would happen in real life to Dylan as he brought the knife to the scene even though he didn’t use it?

PrincessScarlett · 06/01/2025 20:59

That was the only shit bit about tonight. And there's no way Asha would have broken the news he was dead.

Greentableleg · 06/01/2025 21:01

I don't usually get emotional over soaps but that episode was heartbreaking.

Bignanna · 06/01/2025 21:01

Gurning Betsy was vile!

DDivaStar · 06/01/2025 21:05

I thought they got the balance right tonight, very well acted.

There were 2 other paramedics on the ambulance so guessing Ashsa is not fully trained yet.

MonickerMonica · 06/01/2025 21:05

That was gripping in such a sad way 😕 Tim and Sally discussing knife crime... the message was loud and clear but stabbings are increasing sadly. Very emotional to watch. 🙁

Middlemarch123 · 06/01/2025 21:16

Best episode in a very long time.
Shame they killed off one of the best characters in ages.
Outstanding performance from Luca Toolan, think he’s destined for a great future, and we’ll be seeing him in some good dramas. Far too talented for soaps.

Agree 100%

Incredible episode tonight. Unfortunately the kids who carry knives will not be watching Coronation Street.
