So many women pregnant, is there something in the water?
Wonder if they'll have a son or a daughter?
Joel's story lingers on, that's really too bad.
And now we have to put up with his mum and his dad.

Lauren's gonna do time, I wonder how long.
I guess she deserves it as she has done wrong.
Gail's gonna leave soon, after 50 whole years.
It'll be such a shame, there will many tears!

Bethany's putting on a brave face, though she's had a tough ride.
Daniel's still boring, and Kit's always snide.
Daisy's always got a snooty little pout.
And looks like she might just knock someone out..

Toyah and Nick have been secretly smooching.
Leanne knows all about it though, as she's always mooching.
Debbie's so funny, and Eileen's so droll
And Roy, a real favourite, is one of the best characters of all

Carla and Swain are getting quite close.
Not such a secret now, and nearly everyone knows.
Mason the baddie has gone quite good.
And Betsy always acts like she's Queen of the Hood!

Not much more to review for now.
But it's happy new year to us all.
I wonder how the Corrie cast will celebrate?
I bet they will have a ball.

I'm possibly the only person to not mind trailers and spoilers because when I see them it makes me look forward to watching them play out.

I haven't seen the trailer but I mayy already know the grimness that is coming up. I don't seek out spoilers but if I come across them I don't mind because I am not invested in any of the storylining (as is probably obvious😆)

I don't want them personally. Ruins it for me. Never used to happen pre 2010s. There's a reason why lots of threads on the Telly Addicts forum here say 'no spoilers!' 😬 Many people don't want them.

Oh and you're not weird @MonickerMonica 😆 My DH doesn't mind spoilers either! Some people don't.

I don't really mind with Corrie because it is so messy now. But I hate spoilers for drama series that people binge watch when I'm watching weekly episodes.
With Coronation Street it tends to a question of who will be in hospital, police station or prison. Nobody is ever in the Kabin now or the florist, rarely in Devs or the kebab shop. The health centre was a normal place to be, the reception desk was gossip central.

I don't read detailed episode spoilers (there's then no point watching) but I don't mind the general ones.

I did not see the Hillman spoiler and I was glad about that, as I loved the 'surprise'. There aren't many welcome surprises in Corrie nowadays though!

I really must get on with the jobs in my kitchen but.....have I missed something with the Chesney drama? All gone quiet in that household lately. Chesney actor may be occupied elsewhere though (am saying nowt!) 👀

I hate spoilers of anything. I love a surprise. Didn't find out the sex of my children and even last night, 1 of my Xmas presents was a trip to a show. My partner wanted to give me some clues to what it was in the pub before we got to the theatre but I wouldn't let him 😂

Biggest spoler ever for me was I think Richard Bacon it was, giving away the ending of the Sixth Sense before I'd seen it (watched it quite a while after it came out) 🤬

They're gearing up for a massive reveal about who the mystery van driver is I think.

I don’t mind some spoilers with Corrie or Emmerdale because I like to discuss them and there’s a Emmerdale spoiler thread which helps lol but for other Emmerdale or Corrie spoilers, I am disappointed so I guess for me, I’m 50/50

I hate spoilers of any kind. Even people mentioning that Gail was leaving annoyed me.

I saw a spoiler today and a different one last week and that annoyed me too. I didn't even dare say whether it was a story line, or a joining, or a leaving never mind who. Safer that way!

I think her leaving was also on the news so maybe it that case, it was justified to talk about her leaving? I’m not sure

Possibly. But I don't watch the news so for me it was genuinely a spoiler.

I don't mind spoilers but never seem to see them.

I wait for someone else to mention things like Helen Worth leaving, or an actress being pregnant (so their character will need an exit). Although to me those aren't spoilers, they are life events outside the soap and give no indication of what will happen on screen.

Yeah I’ve seen today’s spoilers by accident. It’s a shame things are released in advance now. Spoils it. Especially as you can watch tonight’s episode on ITVX all day in advance.

It is, I know I'm a softie but I shouldn't be this upset over Corrie. The soaps just aren't the same anymore 😢
