Wonder if they'll have a son or a daughter?
Joel's story lingers on, that's really too bad.
And now we have to put up with his mum and his dad.

Lauren's gonna do time, I wonder how long.
I guess she deserves it as she has done wrong.
Gail's gonna leave soon, after 50 whole years.
It'll be such a shame, there will many tears!

Bethany's putting on a brave face, though she's had a tough ride.
Daniel's still boring, and Kit's always snide.
Daisy's always got a snooty little pout.
And looks like she might just knock someone out..

Toyah and Nick have been secretly smooching.
Leanne knows all about it though, as she's always mooching.
Debbie's so funny, and Eileen's so droll
And Roy, a real favourite, is one of the best characters of all

Carla and Swain are getting quite close.
Not such a secret now, and nearly everyone knows.
Mason the baddie has gone quite good.
And Betsy always acts like she's Queen of the Hood!

Not much more to review for now.
But it's happy new year to us all.
I wonder how the Corrie cast will celebrate?
I bet they will have a ball.

Leannes got the Les payout, and she's got the money Nick miraculously found to buy her out of the Bistro. He must have a money tree in the back yard somehow as the Bistro has been struggling for years with many schemes to get money to do it up/buy it off Debbie/save it from failure... but at the drop of a hat, Nick buys Leannes share?! Weird.

I don't get why Amy has persisted in ringing Steve instead of realising he's not answering and getting a cab before her phone dies, or walking to a taxi rank/taxi office. She's outside a night club, I've never been to a night club in manchester (and ive been to a lot) that doesn't have taxis outside/taxi free phone close by/taxi office in walking distance. I realise she wants her Dad but leaving herself stranded instead of getting home seems pretty dim.

I called a plumber out once and I swear it was Ronnie's brother (real life, not Ed 😂). Had the same mannerisms, voice and everything.

@HurdyGurdy19 Gemma is wearing a wig because Dolly the actress has had her hair cut short. Gemma told Chesney that she 'dyed her hair'. I assume budgets are so tight they could not get her a realistic Gemma coloured wig. It's no less realistic than the storylines though I suppose!

Leanne doesn't have Les's money, she gave it to Amy as part payback for the Institute thievery.

Would she already have the money from the Bistro? (and yes, where is Nick's magic money tree).

And Amy turns up at a nightclub which sounded like it was at full swing! Either the nightclub opened ridiculously early or poor Alfie was at the childminders at 11pm.

I thought it was ridiculous that Abi would assume it was Debbie? She's already gone off loads at Toyah and accused her of trying to take her baby yet Toyah wasn't her first thought? Usually in this scenario she'd assume Toyah but it would end up being Debbie 🤷‍♀️

Another one here who doesn't get why Amy didn't call Tracy, or anybody else for that matter. And where was Tracy? She's only ever in her house these days, the rovers or with Leanne. Now Leanne is in her house and she's not there or in the rovers.

I also really hope there's a van man reveal as if not this whole storyline plus the les compo stuff is completely pointless.

I am hoping there is not a van man reveal as the likelihood is that the van would be part of Harvey's kidnapping van fleet thus dragging Ches into the gangland nonsense

If so, this is the most pointless storyline they've ever done. Could have understood it if it led to a way for Chesney to disappear for DOI, but it didn't 🤷‍♀️
