So many women pregnant, is there something in the water?
Wonder if they'll have a son or a daughter?
Joel's story lingers on, that's really too bad.
And now we have to put up with his mum and his dad.

Lauren's gonna do time, I wonder how long.
I guess she deserves it as she has done wrong.
Gail's gonna leave soon, after 50 whole years.
It'll be such a shame, there will many tears!

Bethany's putting on a brave face, though she's had a tough ride.
Daniel's still boring, and Kit's always snide.
Daisy's always got a snooty little pout.
And looks like she might just knock someone out..

Toyah and Nick have been secretly smooching.
Leanne knows all about it though, as she's always mooching.
Debbie's so funny, and Eileen's so droll
And Roy, a real favourite, is one of the best characters of all

Carla and Swain are getting quite close.
Not such a secret now, and nearly everyone knows.
Mason the baddie has gone quite good.
And Betsy always acts like she's Queen of the Hood!

Not much more to review for now.
But it's happy new year to us all.
I wonder how the Corrie cast will celebrate?
I bet they will have a ball.

I agree that David's hair looks soooooooo much better now, all cut neatly. It has looked a mess for ages! Just started watching tonight's episode!

Tonight’s episode was particularly naff. Shona in a van, Shona not in a van. Air guns. Kit on reception just as David nips in and queue jumps. Cassie invited to move in (where??? It’s full to the rafters!!). I can’t bear her “Kennieee”. The solicitor going in all guns blazing, no evidence, and getting barred from grandad’s.

Shona was snatched from a completely empty street, conveniently, yet when Leanne was picking up rubbish there was a group of lads and Nick. Different times of day I know, but would the street ever be empty except at night?

Cassie's plan will be to completely isolate Ken from his family so there is no one else he trusts and no one around to see what she's doing. That is usually how those cons work, although Cassie has certainly had her work cut out because Ken has multiple relatives living a few yards away.

Am I the only one who thinks Max is a really good actor now? I would love a happy ending for him, Lauren and Frankie, but they don't do that in Corrie now!

Claire Sweeney is doing a great job as Cassie. Very convincing. A horrible character but I really like the scenes she's in.

I assume she did order 'the tongs' and added the message to confuse him. Although Ken does not have a history of memory loss and something like spending two hundred quid would stick out.

He also does not seem physically incapable. What does Cassie even do apart from make cups of tea for him?

He's not the worst actor but his voice grinds my gears. I do wonder if his manner of speech is the actor's genuine voice or he's adopted it for "Max" 🙄

How long did it take for the tongs to be delivered? Ordering, to then be on a C/C statement which was then delivered (post in our area is shocking) and to actually for them to know it was hair straighteners! Surely the C/C would have the company name eg John Lewis, Boots unless it was from Hairstraigteners r us!

Maybe it was from Amazon. Next day delivery if Ken has Amazon Prime!

I'm sure we saw her brandishing his credit card with a smug grin on Friday. Ken doesn't look like an Amazon Prime kind of guy!
