So many women pregnant, is there something in the water?
Wonder if they'll have a son or a daughter?
Joel's story lingers on, that's really too bad.
And now we have to put up with his mum and his dad.

Lauren's gonna do time, I wonder how long.
I guess she deserves it as she has done wrong.
Gail's gonna leave soon, after 50 whole years.
It'll be such a shame, there will many tears!

Bethany's putting on a brave face, though she's had a tough ride.
Daniel's still boring, and Kit's always snide.
Daisy's always got a snooty little pout.
And looks like she might just knock someone out..

Toyah and Nick have been secretly smooching.
Leanne knows all about it though, as she's always mooching.
Debbie's so funny, and Eileen's so droll
And Roy, a real favourite, is one of the best characters of all

Carla and Swain are getting quite close.
Not such a secret now, and nearly everyone knows.
Mason the baddie has gone quite good.
And Betsy always acts like she's Queen of the Hood!

Not much more to review for now.
But it's happy new year to us all.
I wonder how the Corrie cast will celebrate?
I bet they will have a ball.

@JMSA Now that you mention it, I think she did. Maybe she's too busy encouraging Leanne to misbehave to review the footage.

Cassie did pretty well to go from being rumbled for drink spiking to getting another pay out in approximately two minutes.

Even if Ken bought the excuse he should have mentioned that telling other people's kids to keep secrets is never a good idea.

Max's previous head was especially terrible.

I don't like Max's character but I don't think he's a particularly poor actor.

Ken's not that sharp really, he had no problem with Amy investing her inheritance money in The Institute.

Yep! I do think he used to be more wily but it's realistic that in his late 80s he's portrayed to be less so.

What exactly is Cassie putting in the Ken‘s tea? It’s so stupid that they are suspicious of her but not making any effort to find out more!

I'm sure it's antihistamines to make him drowsy. I agree, ridiculous they're not taking it more seriously, especially since they've all been a bit dubious of Cassie's intentions from the off.

Ken only has 2 expressions, angry, and a bit perplexed. And I think a bit perplexed is just his natural face.

They seem to have done a complete u-turn on the cassie and steve relationship too. Lots of build up where they act like they hate each other but we know they don't, then they did the deed, now Cassie is more bothered about syphoning a bit of cash off Ken and they hate each other again, but no more lustful glances/reverse psychology going on.

It’s the same on eastenders with Reiss - everyone mistrusted him and yet now no one suspects he murdered his wife.

Tracey is the type to keep quiet and gather evidence rather than blurting out her suspicions. As is Adam. Hopefully they’ll figure it out soon as I am bored with this storyline now!

I think Lord Kenneth condescendingly thinks he is a doing a good turn and rehabbing a former wrong-un with Cassie. Completely deluded! Most people hearing their carer is necking brandy on duty would fire them, not bung them money for 'therapy'.

He is used to being the clever one, the only one on the street who went to university, which means absolutely nothing in terms of common sense. He’s often had his head turned - Wendy flaming Crozier, and her on the barge (Martha?)

I wish everyone did not just turn instantly to crime. It would have been a much better story if Cassie was just doing a bit of minor fleecing instead of all this spiking nonsense.

Jack PS talked about his hair in his podcast at the end of last year, he said he couldn't cut it before because he's been in continuity since August. When Helen left they showed a lot of clips of him and his hair over the years and it prompted him to have a change. I know he's supposed to be touchy about his hair but he seemed very relaxed about it.

The new cut suits him, he looked slightly mad before.

Just needs a shave now. 😊
