So many women pregnant, is there something in the water?
Wonder if they'll have a son or a daughter?
Joel's story lingers on, that's really too bad.
And now we have to put up with his mum and his dad.

Lauren's gonna do time, I wonder how long.
I guess she deserves it as she has done wrong.
Gail's gonna leave soon, after 50 whole years.
It'll be such a shame, there will many tears!

Bethany's putting on a brave face, though she's had a tough ride.
Daniel's still boring, and Kit's always snide.
Daisy's always got a snooty little pout.
And looks like she might just knock someone out..

Toyah and Nick have been secretly smooching.
Leanne knows all about it though, as she's always mooching.
Debbie's so funny, and Eileen's so droll
And Roy, a real favourite, is one of the best characters of all

Carla and Swain are getting quite close.
Not such a secret now, and nearly everyone knows.
Mason the baddie has gone quite good.
And Betsy always acts like she's Queen of the Hood!

Not much more to review for now.
But it's happy new year to us all.
I wonder how the Corrie cast will celebrate?
I bet they will have a ball.

He sometimes gives an ‘ I’ve sussed you’ look but then carries on throwing money at her?

Ken... is massively flattered. Cassie is making him feel like he is worthwhile, special, attractive even and so so very clever and we all know Ken is a sucker for any woman who butters him up a bit, he's so very full of himself and practically preens when he gets a compliment. Cassies worked out every single one of his buttons there!

I've often thought this. How could Helen Worth bear Gail going from businesswoman to halfwit? I guess it's Corrie's way or the highway.

I think Ken is onto her and is playing a game. I think he knows she took his card.

If this is the case, he'll surely start tipping the drinks she makes him down the sink from now on?

Surely he wouldn't chance playing a game with someone he knows is potentially poisoning him?

We all know know that about Ken's long-developed, long-standing character, but the question is - do these current writers?

As @Freysimo says, they turned Gail into a halfwit.

And as for all the deranged pairings and frottings, well, I don't have much faith left in the writers' adherence to the craft of character faithfulness.

Is it actually possible for anyone to be more annoying than the Betsy character? If she actually speaks like that in real life, she has a problem. Also, like many of the other ‘actors’ in Corrie now, she has about as much talent as a dead hedgehog! Can’t stand the whimpering little c*w

Frankie's acting isn't up to much either. He could at least try to look ill.

It's Max who I've never liked and sorry to say this but it's his voice! His manner of speech is er not manly at all. Cringeworthy😕

I have always found him a bit creepy and he never seems to acknowledge that he does anything wrong even after breaking and entering, drink spiking, upskirting, terrorism, etc. He just arrogantly fronts it out in that petulant voice

It is not helped that David and Shona always respond by saying he is a good kid really

As harsh as this is, I totally agree. His voice is horrendous & not sure if it's to mask the awful acting or it's part of the reason his acting seems terrible. Either way it's all awful & totally unbelievable.

I can't stand Bethany Max Bobby Betsy or her mother, and Lauren better step up or she'll be on my list too.

David as always is the biggest gobshite going, can't stand him the most, I know he's popular on here but I really wish he'd go.

There is no way Ken is on to Cassie. I think those 'expressions' are Bill Roache's limited acting. She is flattering his ego and he always thinks he's the cleverest person in the room so he could not possibly be conned.

I love David but this storyline is the pits. And I hope this Leanne-Toyah-Nick storyline is cooling off now because I am fed up with Leanne's mardy strops and Toyah's sanctimonious face.

I can't stand Max and I have always thought the actor was really weak. I've been expecting a head replacement for years but it never happened.
