So many women pregnant, is there something in the water?
Wonder if they'll have a son or a daughter?
Joel's story lingers on, that's really too bad.
And now we have to put up with his mum and his dad.

Lauren's gonna do time, I wonder how long.
I guess she deserves it as she has done wrong.
Gail's gonna leave soon, after 50 whole years.
It'll be such a shame, there will many tears!

Bethany's putting on a brave face, though she's had a tough ride.
Daniel's still boring, and Kit's always snide.
Daisy's always got a snooty little pout.
And looks like she might just knock someone out..

Toyah and Nick have been secretly smooching.
Leanne knows all about it though, as she's always mooching.
Debbie's so funny, and Eileen's so droll
And Roy, a real favourite, is one of the best characters of all

Carla and Swain are getting quite close.
Not such a secret now, and nearly everyone knows.
Mason the baddie has gone quite good.
And Betsy always acts like she's Queen of the Hood!

Not much more to review for now.
But it's happy new year to us all.
I wonder how the Corrie cast will celebrate?
I bet they will have a ball.

Corrie is now a hybrid of The Bill, Casualty and Prisoner Cell Block H, I miss the old Coronation Street so much, I watch Classic and it’s like watching two completely different shows.

what’s happened to the Kabin? Is Rita still running it? I can’t remember the last time I saw a scene with it in.
The fun has definitely gone out of the show, which is a shame as northern humour was its strength.

Rita makes the briefest of appearances and am not sure if she still owns the Kabin. The actress is obviously frail but possibly still wants to be included. Quite sad when you remember how vibrant and vocal she was. That's life though 😕

tours are only on weekends when they don’t film anyway so shouldn’t matter.

Lauren’s trial is going well then 😆It is so badly done, there is no point commenting on it.

Why are two women fighting over Daniel? He is awful.

The new producer’s work has only been on screen a few weeks, we cannot blame her for the Lauren or Swain debacles.

All the defence witnesses just keep saying Lauren is a good woman who has had hard time in life, not sure that really helps her case.

Yes, how handy that Joel’s dad managed to find a prisoner in the same “block” as Lauren who was about to get out. It’s almost as unlikely as the prison officer pretending to be in a siege so Rob could persuade Carla to take a kidney!

The local police should be disbanded and the prison put in special measures. They are very inefficient. The hospital is excellent in treating people, but security seems poor. Joel could wander in and Carla could wander out.
We need more hairdresser action, reopen the health centre and so on.

So Carla is now at home and has a dialysis machine in the bedroom. I thought kidney dialysis had to be done in hospital. Anyone here who knows about these things?

Oh right....... I wasn't aware that the female prison officer was involved. She actually thanked the lad (Mason's brother) for saving her life, so I don't think she was involved. Happy to be corrected.
