So many women pregnant, is there something in the water?
Wonder if they'll have a son or a daughter?
Joel's story lingers on, that's really too bad.
And now we have to put up with his mum and his dad.

Lauren's gonna do time, I wonder how long.
I guess she deserves it as she has done wrong.
Gail's gonna leave soon, after 50 whole years.
It'll be such a shame, there will many tears!

Bethany's putting on a brave face, though she's had a tough ride.
Daniel's still boring, and Kit's always snide.
Daisy's always got a snooty little pout.
And looks like she might just knock someone out..

Toyah and Nick have been secretly smooching.
Leanne knows all about it though, as she's always mooching.
Debbie's so funny, and Eileen's so droll
And Roy, a real favourite, is one of the best characters of all

Carla and Swain are getting quite close.
Not such a secret now, and nearly everyone knows.
Mason the baddie has gone quite good.
And Betsy always acts like she's Queen of the Hood!

Not much more to review for now.
But it's happy new year to us all.
I wonder how the Corrie cast will celebrate?
I bet they will have a ball.

Tbf though, I'm not sure you can really compare Sarah/Daisy and Bernie. Bernie is a harassed grandmother of 5 who works in a cafe and Sarah is apparently a business woman! Daisy is half bernie's age and younger than her children. She definitely has the time to look glam!

I was just shocked when seeing Bernie at some awards ceremony - she looked really glam even without fillers!

I dunno, still think it’s a completely unbelievable pairing.

I bet they've done endless research on what the procedure would be with prison hostage-taking but it still looks risible

I love Dev and Bernie together too. Dev is beyond annoying without Bernie. They are an odd couple that work. Bernie is just amazing.

Anyone else recognise the prison officer? Think she might have been in Shameless maybe?

I’ve never watched Shameless but I did think she was familiar.

There were looks between the female officer and Matty before it all kicked off. Can’t see how Rob setting it up does him much good, not like they’re going to say you’re a good guy now, off you go. But then it’s TVland so 🤷‍♀️

I knew the whole hostage thing was a set up - I guess it gets Bobby singing Robs praises and gets Rob some time out of prison, which if you're in for as long as he is, you'd jump at (well.. arseholes like him would). It'd look good on his record too, being tested for and willing to donate/actually donating a kidney.

Or maybe he is planning an escape?

As if Bethanys been headhunted based off the back of a couple of 'ten things to do with a capsule wardrobe' and 'hot or not - this weeks fashion do's and don'ts' articles... Why on earth would Matty have agreed to take part in the set-up, when he'll be on trial for murder soon? And as if Rob would be allowed anywhere near him after such a major incident between them!

Nothing about that made sense. Is Harvey still in that prison? Even if he's in a different one, he'd have clout in there I'm sure. No way would Rob rub him up the wrong way I'm sure and Matty is supposed to be one of his minions.

Harvey and Damon must be in different prison. So one should be in with Rob.

Yes - she's behaving as though Toyah had abducted the kid instead of rescuing him and is being really nasty about it, but Kevin isn't putting her right!
