Who is the most disagreeable, mean spirited character in the Archers?

I vote for William.

When Kate was pregnant with Phoebe, I thought that she would call her something like Moon flower and posted this on UMRA. Writers for the Archers lurk and picked up the name, and gave it to one of Kate's Hippy Friends!

Elizabeth, always has been the most self-centred one of the lot, I reckon.

yes Flack and, let's face it, she used to be a bit of a slut, until Nigel "rescued" her.

Oh we've got to have that littlelapin plot line! But I have to admit I'm finding the Abbie storyline slightly unconvincing. Hayley doesn't seem fraught enough. How IS she managing with feeding? Has she been expressing for Abbie? Is she still feeding her? If so, why isn't she experiencing the usual difficulties when a new mother starts for the first time.

I hope Roy has some really broken nights. I don't like him.

am listening to archers - although love littlelapin's plotline , am wanting to do violence to radio re susan. ITs not often Matt Crawford looks reasonable.

I know - it was a dreadful storyline for kathy but in the general run of things she is damn irritating.

oh god now Ruth on... is this some kind of endurance test this morning of all the irritating people - willyem, susan, ruth? all we need now is a good old self righteous rant from pat and roy going off on one and it'll be full house.

I hate the way no new mother in any soap ever has any bf difficulties.

William is so undignified. A little fortitude in adversity wouldn't go amiss...

William needs a good kicking. I rarely advocate violence but that kind of sulky aggressive petulance deserves it in an adult.

what is the 'back story' to the red kyte? I missed it

Authorities turned up at Wills because a poisoned red kite was found on the Estate. William claims enevverdunit. Matt reckons he did and good luck to him but he should be sacked because he didn't cover his tracks better. Brian is being worryingly supportive -I would be worried if I was Will ("The Secretary of State has my full support....")

Will and Eddie then found a dead buzzard and buried it.

Will is sinking into Hardyesque paranoia and snapping at anyone who says good morning to him and getting gloomily drunk and trying to hit Ed.

Susan's the worst. Can't bear the woman. Jumped up, pretentious, sanctimonious, failed social-climbing malicious gossip....

Although Pat, Shula & Elizabeth are pretty close runners up. Ruth on a bad day is also dreadful, as is Kathy with her whining.

Will's just being a typical gamekeeper in training. They're nearly all bloody-minded gits (and I'm sure there are some honourable exceptions, just in case I've offended too many people!)

But I LOVE Kenton, Matt & Lillian.
